pancake(193) brunch(85) breakfast(63) sandwich(41) egg(35) bar(31) recommend(29) cheese(28) latke(27) syrniki(26) cottage(21) highly recommend(19)It started with my girlfriend seeing the picture of the pancakes with blueberries & ended with us coming again (this time at the Cathcart). It was tasty, friendly & cozy. Well, you have to wait a bit, but that's only their fault in terms of being so good.
The BEST pancakes you'll ever taste in Montreal!! So original & deeeelicious!!!! Even their avocado toast is yummy, but you MUST try the pancakes. They are a perfect balance of sweet & salty….crispy on the outside & fluffy on the inside!! Definitely worth the hype & the wait!
My go-to brunch spot in the city. You can NOT go wrong here. From their syrupy pancakes, to their out-of-this-world grenki, perfectly crisp schnitzel sandwich & to-die-for Moroccan eggplant sandwich (my personal favourite), every dish outdoes the last. I will be back again & again & again.
Tip: in the summer, to avoid waiting in line, grab it as takeout & enjoy in the park across the street.
Great food! Staff was friendly too! I would HIGHLYYYYYY recommend the pancakes
Overrated.
Get here as fast as you can & no matter what else you order, order the pancakes too!! (& the sugar cookie) SHEESH!!
I had the breakfast sandwich at $17 tax included. It was really not worth it.
The single thin slice of meat was a disappointing portion for an expensive small sandwich. However all in all the sandwich came together & was quite nice. Mind you the blueberry pancakes on the other tables looked delicious.
Always a great time here! Core memory: 1 week after our son was born & we needed to get out of the house, they sat us in a quiet corner, he slept peacefully & we had the best lunch together.
Shakshuka was delicious, just a touch too spicy. Great service.
2nd visit, Pancakes with blueberries, bacon on the side. Syrnik & a cup & a half of local blueberries, fantastic. Bacon wasn't worth it.
Lives up to the hype! The food was amazing & the staff very nice. The only problem was the wait time, but is understandable given the popularity of the place.
Food is good but very overpriced expect to pay at least 70$ for two people & a very very tasteless coffee. 45 minutes wait time as well
Great place for brunch. Loved the Syrinki pancakes! Never tasted pancakes like this before. Another highlight for me was the Latkes which were served with house apple sauce, horseradish & sour cream… soo delicious! Service was slow & has room for improvement. Also, the servers were a bit rude imo.
However, I will definitely return to Arthurs upon my next visit to Montreal. Just for the pancakes!
The restaurant has a nice, elegant atmosphere, but the seating is quite close together, which can feel a bit cramped. Our dishes also took longer than expected - we ordered around 3:30pm, but the food only arrived close to 4:00pm, leaving us waiting about 30 minutes. Since the restaurant closes at 4:00, we ended up eating quite quickly in a nearly empty dining room, which felt a little rushed. The food itself was tasty, but service speed & timing could definitely be improved.
Loved everything about it! The amazing service & delicious pancakes omg soooo delicious 😋
