The cafe vibe is great. The decoration is beautiful.
We ordered The hot chocolate, tense & tastes good.
For the food. We ordered the cottage cheese pancake. First bite, heavenly delicious. Little crispy outside, soft inside. Love it. The egg & salami also amazing.
The mc arthur sandwich (fried chicken sandwich) is ok, personally not that special, a lil bit dry.
Me & my dad had a wonderful experience at Arthur's today. I have been before but this was my first time since they renovated the place & it had a wonderful vibe. The staff was amazing. We tried to order some items but they had run out so they gave us a dessert on the house which was very kind. The food was delicious as usual & the wait time was much shorter than previous visits (only 12 minutes). If you haven't been already, I highly recommend it!!
Awful. Overrated. Worst filter coffee of my life. I barely drank it & they charged my 4$! I literally saw people coming in with coffee from across the street from Cafe Campanelli! Also they don't have certain thinks on the menu in the week which was disappointing. What I ordered wasn't anything special. The latkas were good. The best thing were the pancakes but there were only 2 & it's 18$...ridiculous. Never going back.
The new renovations are so nice! Alexandra the waitress is always amazing, kind & quick. Forever my fav brunch spot in MTL.
Probably the best pancake I've ever had 😋 Jesse suggested it to us & im glad he did.
Great brunch overall, the team was so welcoming & smiling. Loved starting my day there hehehe
I only dock a tiny point for the squishy seating, other than that this is THE spot!!! Iconic food, always bringing new friends to Arthur's because it's just that good. Such a beautiful family story too. Come for breakfast, come for brunch. Whatever you choose, make sure you get a cookie on your way out 😉🩵
Honestly one of the best brunch experiences I've had in Montreal.
Everything tasted super fresh, & the quality of cooking was excellent.
The staff were also very friendly & welcoming, which made the whole experience even better.
The only downside was the long wait time.
I really wish they had a reservation option on their website ,it would make things much easier!
Très déçue malheureusement ! Rien de fameux de wow, peut être que je suis tombée sur un mauvais jour ! Aussi, c'est un restaurant juif mais il n'y a rien de Kosher …
So popular for a reason. Great food, prices are fair. Glad they expanded recently so that seating is more comfortable & the whole place is more spacious. When I can I go during weekdays because I haven't needed to wait.
From the moment you walk in you feel unwelcome. I wasn't allowed to be seated until my friend arrived because they did not want me to stay seated too long. Me & my friend were rushed into ordering & felt uncomfortable so we decided to share one plate & leave. Funny enough we waited a long time to get the bill or anyone's attention that we decided to pay at the cash. Would not recommend going to such an unwelcoming place the food was good but way overhyped
We love.love.love the pancakes here. Best in Montreal. We have tried to make them ourselves but never came close. It is small & it gets crowded but the atmosphere is good, & the food is great. It is a must go for breakfast in the city.
We loved Arthurs! Deliciously fresh & comforting food, wonderful service, busy & bustling the entire time but we never felt rushed. Excited for them to have a liquor license to try some cocktails, but for the time being I enjoyed my London Fog 😊 I really loved the family photos in the space & how thoughtful everything felt. We spoke with one of the staff members for a while just chatting about the city & the restaurant, & he came back a few minutes later with a complimentary cookie which was just as delicious as our breakfast. We'll be back for sure!
Food is very good, but expect a long wait. I had to wait an hour for a table & almost 40 minutes more for the food. Not worth the hassle
The place is loud, organisation is average & also 4.75 for a filter coffee is bad. The server also was rude, he said to the other table « this is not McDonald, he won't take 5 min » when they ask about the time. The energy is bad but food is good. Everything from that place put me off, the food is not enough to keep me coming back.
Great brunch/lunch today - beautiful new restaurant, staff was so friendly (bilingual which is amazing), didn't wait long for food, delicious… wonderful experience. We will be back soon! You would never know they just opened back up Monday!
