Went to Arthur's for brunch & it was totally worth it! We were told the wait time would be about 50 minutes, but we got a text within 20 minutes that our table was ready, such a great surprise.
The service was amazing. Our server Nina was super friendly & quick, making the whole experience even better. Jessie was also fantastic with his dish recommendations, everything he suggested was a hit.
& the pancakes… hands down the best 🤩
Highly recommend trying Arthur's if you're in Montreal!
One of my favorite breakfast & brunch place in Montreal
I love their gravlax sandwich & their pancake is awesome. The best pancake
We were a group of 3 & went on a weekday around 12 for brunch. The place was very packed & it felt like we were rushed to order. We got the cottage cheese pancakes that were absolutely fantastic, the Latke Smorgasbord was decent as well. The place is very aesthetic & looks clean.
The beeeest in MTL!!!! Can't live without Arthur's brunches!!
'Overhype' . Salle a manger bondée & bruyante .
Amazing brunch, super friendly service, nice diner style interior. The cottage cheese pancakes with blueberries were sublime
The wait is worth it hostest with the most est greated us patiently friendly & keep us up to date with the wait time what an angel . The food delicious & comforting . Also for such a popular brunch spot soooo affordable.
My go-to brunch spot in the city. You can NOT go wrong here. From their syrupy pancakes, to their out-of-this-world grenki, perfectly crisp schnitzel sandwich & to-die-for Moroccan eggplant sandwich (my personal favourite), every dish outdoes the last. I will be back again & again & again.
Tip: in the summer, to avoid waiting in line, grab it as takeout & enjoy in the park across the street.
Overrated.
Great place for brunch. Loved the Syrinki pancakes! Never tasted pancakes like this before. Another highlight for me was the Latkes which were served with house apple sauce, horseradish & sour cream… soo delicious! Service was slow & has room for improvement. Also, the servers were a bit rude imo.
However, I will definitely return to Arthurs upon my next visit to Montreal. Just for the pancakes!
I have to say, this brunch of oatmeal in Montreal was the best oatmeal ive ever had. I like the feel of Canada. Montreal has a quaint & good feel !! Arthur's is a must stop for food lovers. Make reservations!!
Arthur's Nosh Bar is a restaurant on Notre-Dame St. W. in St. Henri. Owners Alex Cohen & Raegan Steinberg, a married couple, worked at Joe Beef before opening Arthurs.
The restaurant serves Jewish classics with a twist. I've been wanting to go here since last year for brunch, but I never got the chance.
I decided to try it because I've never been to a Jewish inspired restaurant before, & the ratings seemed good.
I walked in the heat & sun to the middle of a very odd place on a weekday afternoon to get to here. I was surprised it was packed & had a waitlist.
I ordered:
LATKE SMORGASBORD
SOFT SCRAMBLED EGGS, LATKE, SALMON GRAVLAX, ISRAELI SALAD, PRESSED CHALLAH ROLL
I quite liked it, especially the pressed challah roll. It's nice that it's something sweet, served with other savoury items. The latke was good too. Out of the menu items, this one is popular alongside with the pancakes (but I ordered Katie smorgasbord because it seemed more unique to me).
4.5 stars. Great brunch spot. Went on a Thursday morning & it was quite busy. Couldn't imagine the weekend wait. A little insane the MP for the strawberries worked out to $6 over the cost of the pancakes regularly. Service was okay.
This place gets brunch. Everything we tried was packed with flavour & personality. The McArthur sandwich? Savoury, messy, & damn satisfying with turkey, egg, & pickles on a sesame bagel. The classic plate with scrambled eggs, challah, latke, & smoked salmon looked fancy & felt comforting.
Waffles with beef bacon , salami & egg hit that sweet-salty-crunchy spot, & the shakshuka was warm, not too spicy, & perfect for scooping with pita. Portions are generous, the vibe is lively, & even if there's a wait-it's worth it.
Love their delicious pancakes & McArthur sandwich! One of the best brunch places in Montreal. Disappointed by service -- the waitress just took my plate of food that I wasn't finished eating without asking while there was still a whole pancake on it. She was caucasian, thin with a hawkish nose. Unprofessional.
