The cafe vibe is great. The decoration is beautiful. We ordered The hot chocolate, tense & tastes good. For the food. We ordered the cottage cheese pancake. First bite, heavenly delicious. Little crispy outside, soft inside. Love it. The mc arthur sandwich (fried chicken sandwich) is ok, personally not that special, a lil bit dry. After the main…Take awhile to get the fries, we asked already. The texture is really, but as it with the vinegar so personally the sour taste too strong.
"Amazing" is a stretch, it's cramped, & by no means is it a "traditional Jewish deli," as Google claims, but they serve good food. We liked ours.
Apparement il fallait prendre une réservation. On n'a jamais vu l'option. Très dur à trouver comme endroit
Best brunch in montreal! The pancakes, sprinkle cookies & latkes are a must!
Arrived late afternoon so we didn't have a long wait. Arthurs is the best breakfast in the city!! Service could improve tho
Went there with my best friend, he got two plates & I got nothing but from what he allowed me to try it was really good, pancakes wildly fluffy, the bite I had of his sandwich was also very good, I even asked for another bite! He said no. It was packed which is a given for a lunch rush but decor is similar to many other places. Not a bad thing it's still very nice. Will go again hopefully my friend will allow me to try more next time
Excellent food selection & well worth the wait time as the whole experience felt very pleasant from service to the taste of the food.
Very good brunch. The Jack Johnson pancakes are top notch. The "scramble" is just okay - I wouldn't order again. However the food quality is very high & I would definitely return & try other items. Btw they told us it'd be a 30 min wait but it was only 10. They take your number & text you & give you 10 mins to appear. There are 2 cafes across the street where you can grab a coffee & wait.
I discovered the best chicken sandwich (McArthur) here! If you have a sweet tooth, their pancakes are a must-try, & they even offer kid-sized portions. Eggplant lovers shouldn't miss their Shakshuka. Highly recommend this spot for brunch. The only downside is the wait time, so be prepared.
I've been here for so many times. Everything is tasty here. But they have the best pancake you've ever had-& likely ever will have.
Dans les 3 meilleurs brunchs à montréal! Les saveurs sont tellement variées
Always delicious! One of my favourite places for breakfast/brunch when I'm in Montreal.
repeat offender, went to update a food institution to see if the vibe,,service & food is still there. it was ,I had an Apocalypse salad that was so good that I ordered one for my wife to take home. The tour of lox ,creme cheese & bagel at the next table looked so good that I was tempted to sit with them. They decided to offer me the sprinkled donut but I refused thinking that the delicious categories looked better on them than me the place is great but weekends are busier than any pick up line at your favorite Starbucks
Pretty generous portions & amazing food. I come here 2-3 times a year for brunch & the food is always awesome. On my last visit I ordered grand slam & it didn't disappoint, the hot sauce was pretty tasty, different than any other hot sauces I've ever had, it's hot but not making you cry/getting runny nose. I also recommend Syrniki & Moroccan toast.
This was one of the best breakfasts I've had in my life. A must try when in Montreal
