Chapeau to such loyal devoted, hard working blood sweat & tears restaurateurs. Thank you to the entire team for your outstanding performance each & every time we visit . Congratulations & can't wait to return. 💕
I went to Arthur's Nosh Bar this morning & was so happy to be back after their reopening. The new space is absolutely beautiful-thoughtfully designed, warm, & inviting. The staff are just as welcoming as ever, creating that same comforting atmosphere that makes you want to stay a little longer. & of course, the food is amazing-every bite worth it.
It was especially meaningful to catch up with Raegan after not seeing her for a while. She is just as kind, supportive, & generous as ever. I'm so grateful I had the chance to talk with her about memories my mom & I shared in her restaurants. Even though my mom has been gone for a few months, today I truly felt like she was with me.
I know people sometimes comment on the wait or things not moving quickly enough. But honestly, my advice is to slow down & appreciate the time you have. Everything moves so fast these days, & being able to sit, relax, & enjoy incredible food in a space that holds such meaningful memories is exactly what I needed today.
I ordered from Uber eats, & I had no clue this place was Jewish food. I just heard it was really good. So my family was Jewish & when I ate the food... Before knowing this was a Jewish place, I said to myself after a few bites, this food is so amazing, I feel like my grandmother & great grandmother would have eaten here... Then I did research on the place & when I found it was Jewish, I laughed so hard, literally slapped my knee, & couldn't help but feel like my ancestors in me were so pleased with this cozy breakfast meal 😂🩷😁
Today was our third time taking out from Arthur's, & while the food is excellent, the disposition of the employees is off-putting. On the visits when I have gone in to grab the food I've said'Hi, I'm picking up please for __' & the man working the counter will say'How are YOU?' in a way that implies that I should have asked him how he was doing first. This has happened twice to me, & he won't make a move to hand the bag over until I answer. My husband also said the energy from the lady handing him out food was strange the one time he went in. I like the food, but I don't need the hassle or anybody's attitude, I don't care how viral your restaurant is.
Came all the way to find out it was closed for renovations, please change it on google. Wasted my time.
