We tried Arthur Nosh Bar 2 months ago & it was amazing, we sat at the terrasse & ordered these.. (See pics below) .. all the food are very tasty!! Esp the soft scrambled egg yum! Super umami!! With the Salami & Challah Roll!! Best combo!! . Cottage cheese pancakes really good as well, I just find it a bit overpriced? But really good for sharing!!
Will come back!! 🙂🙂🙂
I went to Arthur's Nosh Bar with my husband & another couple for brunch, & we loved it! The staff was kind & welcoming, & the food was absolutely delicious. There was a line when we arrived, but it moved fairly quickly. It's definitely worth a visit!
Fantastic brunch. Syrinki pancakes 🥞 are scrumptious, one of the best I ever had. Never tasted pancakes like this before. My entire meal was very delicious. I had the grand slam brunch order. The atmosphere is great. Highly recommend this cafe. This location doesn't accept reservations, walk-ins only but well worth the wait. I will definitely return upon my next visit to Montreal.
New review: I went back to Arthur's of course to get the syrinki pancakes. I ate at the bar. Service was great again. I ordered the avocado toast & side of the pancakes. The avocado toast was delicious. The pancakes are still to die for, chef's kiss 😘. I love Arthur's. Never disappoint. I will be back when I'm in Montréal again.
My fiancee & I visited Montreal for the weekend, & were recommended Arthurs Nosh Bar by a local friend. We waited 80+ minutes for a table for one of the best breakfasts I've ever had in my life. Would return over & over if I lived in the area!
The first time I ate at Arthurs Nosh Bar & ordered the Moroccan Toast - it was absolutely delicious: the crispy chickpeas, the amazing eggplant, the perfect poached eggs, the tahini, & all the other ingredients - a mouthwatering & truly superb culinary experience. The second time - a little underwhelming although a chef can have an off day. Today, I was hoping for that first time tasty sensation & while our food arrived within 10 minutes of ordering (we were quite surprised), sadly, the Moroccan Toast of yesteryear - well, disappointing - no crunchy spiced chickpeas. In fact, the entire dish was bland - maybe the cilantro was missing. I am certain that this was just due to the fact that the restaurant was very busy & perhaps ingredients ran out. I think it's time to try something else.
Arthur's Nosh Bar - A Brunch Delight in Montreal!** Arthur's Nosh Bar in Montreal is a gem for brunch lovers! Nestled in the vibrant Saint-Henri neighborhood, this place offers a unique twist on Jewish deli classics. The atmosphere is cozy & welcoming, with a bright & cheerful interior adorned with family photos & charming decor. The menu is a delightful mix of traditional & creative dishes. I highly recommend the latke smorgasbord & the challah grilled cheese-both are absolutely delicious. The blueberry syrniki pancakes were fluffy & perfectly sweet, making for a fantastic start to the day. Service was friendly & attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. Despite the long wait times during peak hours, the food & ambiance make it worth the wait. Special shoutout to the staff for their warm hospitality! If you're in Montreal & looking for a memorable brunch spot, Arthur's Nosh Bar is a must-visit. Can't wait to return & try more from their menu!
The most amazing pancakes I've ever had. The wild berries were totally with the extra charge. Amazing. Now the breakfast sandwich? Maybe one of the worst things I've ever eaten at breakfast. At first I thought maybe this was the way they did their eggs but looking at other pictures & comparing that to what I got, it's clear that I got barely cooked eggs. Something seemed off when I got the sandwich, but didn't want to say anything if that's the way the eggs on the sandwich usually come. But now seeing others pictures, it was not. It was horrible. But I cant say enough how delicious the pancakes were. To Arthurs Ownership: Regardless of why I didnt say anything, the fact is that barely cooked eggs came out. I wasnt even sure eggs came with the sandwich based on how it looked & had to check the menu again to make sure I wasnt seeing things. I think I didnt say anything because the pancakes were that fantastic. But after seeing the pics of what the sandwich usually looks like, I should have.
Went for breakfast on a Monday. The latke smogasbord featured ONE latke. So... not a latke smogasbord at all. The latke was small, way too thick, & barely crispy. The lox was excellent but there was too little of it. The only generous portion on the plate was the challah, which was good, but there was not much to put on it (see: the small amount of lox, & lack of any cream cheese). The caviar mentioned in the description of the menu item was about 1/4 teaspoon worth. The Israeli salad lacked tomatoes, lemon juice, & olive oil -- 3 out of the 4 classic ingredients a proper Israeli salad should contain. The worst part? They charge almost $5 for a cup of coffee. Regular filtered coffee. You can buy a really nice cappuccino or latte for that price at any coffee house. There are free refills, if your server comes by more than once an hour, unlike ours. I'd heard great things about this place but the obscene price of the coffee & the quality of the food were very, very disappointing. Another item ordered at our table that I would caution future patrons against ordering: the lox bagel, which comes with barely any lox & 0 sides (i.e. all you will get for nearly $20 is a single bagel with a bit of lox inside).
Still one of the best breakfast nooks I've ever experienced in my lifetime. The food was exceptional &, more importantly, the staff were so friendly & accommodating. If you plan on visiting Montreal, Arthurs Nosh Bar is a must. Moroccan Toast...'nuff said!
