Review Summary

Arthurs Dinette has quickly become a beloved neighborhood destination, celebrated for its elevated comfort food, vibrant atmosphere, and welcoming service. Guests frequently praise the high quality of dishes such as the schnitzel, pierogies, burger, and roasted pumpkin, often noting the generous portion sizes and creative, flavorful preparations. While the restaurant has received overwhelming acclaim for its lively energy and attentive staff, some visitors have remarked on the tight seating arrangements, occasional noise levels, and price points that some find to be on the higher side. Despite minor critiques regarding table density or consistency in pacing, the overall consensus is one of high satisfaction, with many patrons expressing eagerness to return and recommending it as a must-visit dining spot in Montreal.

A truly rapturous experience from start to finish. Being two self-proclaimed epicureans, not only were my father & I in seventh heaven gastronomy wise, but the service & ambience were impeccable.
Our favourite dishes were the pumpkin chips, the roasted asparagus, & the chocolate mousse for dessert.
The space, menu, & enthusiastic staff distinguish this dining establishment & make it one of a kind. I highly recommend booking a meal here!

Highly recommend the crudo & fried pumpkin !! So refreshing & delicious. It was my first time having crudo & it did not disappoint! I LOVED the sauce for both appetizers, delicious with the crunch from the chips & the fried pumpkin.

Ouhh & equally loved the grilled cauliflower!

Staff are fast & move with efficiency together.

The pasta was regular a little over salted for me & the fish was good too. No crumbs left !! 😊 the appetizers were the stars of the show, would definitely return & recommend !

Loved the perogies & the pumpkin dish the most. The slippery slope cocktail was delicious. Service was attentive & warm, friendly. Decor is gorgeous & elevated, yet cozy. Highly recommend it for a date or as a family. Will definitely go backs soon, & brunch will be offered in a month, excited about that too

Delightful & thoughtful menu that somehow straddles the line between comfort & innovation. We had fried pumpkin, perogis, greens, fries & a schnizel plate -- be warned, they run out of this dish before night's end. The fries were excellent, crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, & hallelujah! utterly free of truffle/parmesan/spice mixes. The perogis are a 6 portion starter served on a remarkable date-based sauce. These reminded me of a very elevated Mexican-type dish from a textural p-o-v, like mini quesadillas over a bean purée, but the ingredients were definitely none of those things. The sliced pumpkin is another stater, perfect for sharing except I kept it all to myself as my main dish. Addictive! The greens, a side dish, had a smoky burned butter type sauce that was perfection. The schnizel was large & tasty. We also had a nicely sour palomita to drink. Definitely reserve before going; we got lucky as two people who could fit at the bar. Nice to chat with our server/bartender & met the owner briefly. Excellent attentive, friendly service.

Fabulous experience. The food was absolutely delicious & we tried three different appetizers. The pumpkin & pierogies were out of this world, & the schnitzel was incredible. I already want to go back & try more from the menu. It was a bit loud for my taste, but it really matched the vibe of the place. Portions are very generous so sharing is definitely the way to go. The service was extremely attentive, & the owner was present, walking around, greeting guests, & spending time at each table. A fantastic addition to Monkland.
