The food is very good. Pierogies, salad, schnitzel, excellent. However, this was our second visit & was surprised to see how much the prices increased in a short amount of time. I understand restaurants make adjustments to their menu especially at the beginning, but the prices were at least 20% to 40% higher! We were 3 people & ordered the fried zucchini flowers & only 2 were served. Most restaurants would have added a third. Even if we had to pay a little more. Not impressed. Our waiter was rushing us to finish from the appetizers to desserts. Very annoying. They also crammed so many tables into the small restaurant that you can barely move around. Going to the bathroom was challenging. Even other diners commented how tight the spaces were between the tables. Loved our first experience & went back a second time. Won't go back a third time.
This restaurant is definitely in my top 2. The atmosphere was great & the food was delicious. I've been there a couple times & I love how they change & add new meals every month or two. Service was very fast & we were in & out in 40 minutes plus the staff are very kind & starts conversations with you. The food is just a little expensive but still very delicious. For example a schnitzel is 50$ but still it is very delicious. Plus when you get the check they give you a little treat like in this photo!
Such a wonderful experience! The food was fantastic-I especially loved the schnitzel, & the portion was huge. I also had a mocktail that was excellent. The wait staff & host were both warm, attentive, & welcoming. I had accidentally made my reservation for the wrong night, but the host was incredibly understanding & accommodating. Overall, it was a great dining experience, & I would happily return

Overall good addition to the neighborhood, & I'm sure the restaurant will be very successful.
The restaurant is welcoming & decorated with taste. You sit close to the other tables, but it adds to the atmosphere. We were not bothered at all by the people next to us.
Foodwise, this is comfort food done well. Nothing fancy, simple dishes anyone can appreciate but executed well. We had a good meal, our favorite dish was the very generous chicken schnitzel, the burger was also tasty.
However, we did find the menu to be on the pricey side. Every dish felt a few dollars too expensive.
The service was attentive, & I liked their simple but good wine list. We did feel like it was a bit slow at times, we received our appetizers almost 45min after arriving, which is slower than what we're used to.
We'll probably come back in a few months to give it another try.

The restaurant just opened & they're already firing on all cylinders. The food, the service, the ambiance everything was spot on.
We tried the burger, the sea bass, & the Green Goat salad, & every dish was excellent. We wrapped up with the mousse & the cheesecake, both flawless finishes to the meal. The service was warm, attentive, & genuinely welcoming.
They had just run out of the schnitzel, which only gives us the perfect excuse to come back soon. Can't wait for the next visit.
Arthur's is at it again. Bringing their local charm & delicious cuisine back to NDG. You could barely tell this was their first week open, already full & buzzing with locals dying to get some of the coveted chicken schnitzel. The service impressed me as much as the food, attentive, friendly & clearly experienced. The drinks were a high point for me, even if the owner wanted me to add more dirt, my martini was delicious. The burger is going to be competing for the best on the block, & that's saying something. The shrimp appetizer was a great portion, cooked perfectly with a nice spicy cocktail sauce. Looking forward to going back
Fabulous experience. The food was absolutely delicious & we tried three different appetizers. The pumpkin & pierogies were out of this world, & the schnitzel was incredible. I already want to go back & try more from the menu. It was a bit loud for my taste, but it really matched the vibe of the place. Portions are very generous so sharing is definitely the way to go. The service was extremely attentive, & the owner was present, walking around, greeting guests, & spending time at each table. A fantastic addition to Monkland.
