Arriba Burrito comes across as a lively, welcoming Mexican spot with bold flavors and a festive vibe. Reviews highlight standout dishes like birria and ribeye tacos, tacos al pastor, nachos, fajitas, enchiladas, and crowd pleasers on brunch such as French toast, creme brulee pancakes, churros, and a cookie latte, with cocktails and unlimited mimosas adding to the fun. The atmosphere is repeatedly described as energetic and convivial, sometimes electric and loud with a DJ, which many diners enjoy for a social night out but can be a challenge for conversation and seating, as the space is often crowded and tables close together. Service is generally friendly and attentive, with generous portions and fresh flavors, yet several experiences mention slow or inconsistent service, missed or delayed items, and some communication mishaps during busy times. Several reviews praise the staff and the management for personal touches and helpful recommendations, though a few note price at the higher end and occasional variation in value depending on the dish or time. Overall, Arriba Burrito is seen as a solid go to for authentic Mexican fare with big portions and big energy, worth a visit for brunch or a night out, with many expressing intention to return to try different dishes or to celebrate a special occasion.
The food was delicious, but the service was really disappointing. We were a group of four, & while three of us received our meals on time, the fourth person only got their plate 40 minutes later-by then, the rest of us had already finished eating. We asked the waitress several times if the food was coming, & each time she said'yes, soon,' but it still took 40 minutes.
Our first waitress seemed very irritated & was even rude to us. When the last dish finally arrived, it turned out the food was expired. At first, we thought our friend was exaggerating, but when we all tasted it, it was clearly spoiled. We asked for a replacement, but that meant waiting even longer.
Overall, the food itself is very good, but the service is poor, & some of the waitresses were unpleasant. If someone is going to be irritated & disrespectful just for answering simple questions, maybe they shouldn't be working with the public.
Its a very festive spot for brunch. There was a DJ blasting Latino music. Its loud be warned. The food was good. I like the savory dishes over the creme brulée pancakes. The cocktails were pretty dope.
On recommande vivement! ☺?

I had a nice dinner at Arriba Burrito restaurant. The food overall was good. We started with the nachos, the portion was smaller than usual but the taste was still good & the presentation with the flower on the top was cute. For the main course, I ordered the Birria, which came in a very generous portion. It was rich in flavors & spices, a little spicy but still enjoyable. My only concern was that it was a bit too oily, which made it heavy.
The ambience was fun but the music was too loud, & the sound isolation could definitely be improved. The service was good, our waiter was friendly.
It was a nice experience, but with some small improvements, it could be even better.
The dishes here are delicious! I went with a friend & we split the birria tacos & dulce de leche pancakes, both of which were 10/10. The tacos were super juicy & came with a delicious guacamole. They also didn't shy away from putting lots of fresh berries on the pancakes, & the dulce de leche was to die for (& I'm saying this as a Latin American!)
The staff were super friendly & patient, & our orders came very fast! The only cons are that it's a bit too hot at the restaurant (I think it's an air circulation issue) & the drinks weren't anything special - & considering the price we paid, I expected a bit more. For context, I had an iced latte & my friend had a juice. But the decor is beautiful nonetheless & the dishes make it worth checking out!
Super belle soirée, une belle découverte pour nous. J'ai adoré les nachos en entrée. La terrasse arrière est parfaite, super emplacement sur St Denis. Notre go to pour une autre date en amoureux à MTL. Merci 💃

Very busy restaurant, well located, welcoming staff, mostly spanish speaking, the chefs are mexicans, as close as it can get to typical flavors in Mexico, overall recommended spot, fair prices for quality & amount of food.
I found this beautiful place from social media & I wanted to try. Our server was Lara & she was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! Such a beautiful smile & energy! If id live in Canada Id personally always ask for her!! The food was mouth watering good! I would most definitely recommend this beautiful place. It hits just rightttt!! ❤?❤?✨?✨?
I visited this Mexican restaurant today & honestly, it was pretty disappointing. The service was slow - they clearly need more servers to keep up. The food, which looked incredible on TikTok, turned out to be really underwhelming & overpriced. Definitely another influencer trap.
The meat was dry, the guacamole tasted like something straight out of a grocery store container, & overall the dishes just weren't very flavorful. For the price, I expected way more. The one redeeming quality was the drinks those were actually really good.
Wouldn't go back for the food, but maybe worth a stop if you're just grabbing cocktails.
