Arriba Burrito comes across as a lively, welcoming Mexican spot with bold flavors and a festive vibe. Reviews highlight standout dishes like birria and ribeye tacos, tacos al pastor, nachos, fajitas, enchiladas, and crowd pleasers on brunch such as French toast, creme brulee pancakes, churros, and a cookie latte, with cocktails and unlimited mimosas adding to the fun. The atmosphere is repeatedly described as energetic and convivial, sometimes electric and loud with a DJ, which many diners enjoy for a social night out but can be a challenge for conversation and seating, as the space is often crowded and tables close together. Service is generally friendly and attentive, with generous portions and fresh flavors, yet several experiences mention slow or inconsistent service, missed or delayed items, and some communication mishaps during busy times. Several reviews praise the staff and the management for personal touches and helpful recommendations, though a few note price at the higher end and occasional variation in value depending on the dish or time. Overall, Arriba Burrito is seen as a solid go to for authentic Mexican fare with big portions and big energy, worth a visit for brunch or a night out, with many expressing intention to return to try different dishes or to celebrate a special occasion.
This is such an airy light filled space with cute decorations. We ordered a cookie latte, a chocolate abuelita, enchiladas rojas with chicken, huevos divorciados & creme brulee pancakes. They blowtorch the creme brulee pancakes right in front of you & it's so fun.w Everything was so fresh & delicious. Service was super friendly. Would highly recommend for brunch!
Un des meilleurs restaurants mexicains de Montréal! La présentation des plats, les saveurs ainsi que l'ambiance valent la peine d'être essayés. Je recommande fortement d'y faire un tour & d'essayer leur pain doré & leurs tacos birria!
The food was okay overall. Flavors were fine & portions were decent, but the protein serving was really small. Once you notice all the spelling mistakes on the menu, you kind of know what level of attention to detail to expect. The kitchen is quick, but the service is super slow & the waiters aren't very attentive. Nice atmosphere though.
I visited Aribba Burrito in Montreal recently. The overall vibe of the place was decent, but the open-back seating area was the real highlight - cozy, aesthetic, & a great spot to hang out or unwind.
I had a hot chocolate, which had a nice flavor but was served more warm than hot. By the time I started drinking it, it had already cooled down. Personally, I prefer hot chocolate that's rich, thick, & intensely chocolatey - this one was a bit too light for my taste.
The standout item for me was the French toast. It was delicious - soft, well-cooked, & had a creamy filling or spread inside that gave it an interesting twist. Sometimes it complicated the toast, but at times it had a slightly sour note. Overall, it was flavorful & satisfying. Easily the best part of my visit.
All in all, it's a charming spot with a relaxing atmosphere & some solid menu items. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area
Nous y sommes allées pour un brunch, la nourriture était vraiment bonne. Nous avons adoré l'ambiance! Le personnel était accueillant & le service assez rapide. Notre serveuse Violetta était super sweet!
J'y retournerai pour le souper !
I went on a weekend before it got too busy. I'm convinced it's one of those overhyped restos. I tried the birria tacos which wasn't terrible just not as good as I expected
