Delicious food, wonderful for a brunch. I especially recommend the chakchouka. Don't expect a lazy visit with no stress, the place is packed & as soon as you're done you will likely have to leave because of the lineup at the door..

The food is very bad, & the service is also very bad. I ordered dishes with cheese, & he must wait until all the dishes are ready before giving them to us. As a result, the taste is very hard & very salty. It's not worth the tip of up to 17% at all.
As someone who considers themselves a brunch expert, I feel comfortable giving a precise review of Antipode.
The food is good, with an interesting complexity of flavors. Their house hollandaise sauce is unlike anything I've had elsewhere - more aromatic & distinctive (even though some of my friends didn't love its appearance). The service is excellent, & the décor feels very authentic.
So what's the issue? The price. It stands out compared to other brunch spots offering similar quality. It feels even less accessible when you consider that the eggs Benedict do not come with potatoes or salad - you only get the eggs Benedict themselves, which is uncommon compared to most places.
Because of that, the value for money isn't great. On the day I went, the wait wasn't too bad - just a small group ahead of us.
I wouldn't go back, but I do recommend going once to try it.

The lattes & food were amazing!! Loved the lattes & both meals we got. It's quite a decent amount of food too! The server was maybe having a bad day because they weren't very friendly.
Le comportement du personnel en service est déplacé ! Visite du 21 janvier, les repas sont bons mais l'attitude du serveur est à revoir, la sollicitation de pourboires auprès des clients n'est pas appropriée, surtout la méthode & le ton employé par le serveur à ce propos (d'ailleurs c'est une des raisons de changement de la loi parce que beaucoup de québécois sont exaspérés de cela, il faut former votre personnel à réagir de façon appropriée).
Je recommandais cette adresse avant mais c'est terminé c'est beaucoup trop aléatoire niveau de qui & comment on est servis!
Il y a contournable & incontournable. L'Antipode rentre dans la seconde catégorie. Un brunch difficile à égaler. Généreux, gourmand, raffiné, stimulant, gratifiant, mémorable & vivifiant. Super. Vous pouvez y aller en toute confiance.
Très déçu de mon expérience chez Antipode.
Nous étions trois personnes & avions terminé de manger, mais étions encore assis pour discuter lorsqu'on nous a gentiment demandé de quitter parce que des gens attendaient. En réalité, il n'y avait que trois personnes en attente.
Même si la demande a été faite poliment, rien n'indique nulle part qu'il existe une limite de temps ou une obligation de quitter une fois le repas terminé. En tant que client, on s'attend à pouvoir rester raisonnablement installé, surtout lorsqu'aucune règle n'est annoncée à l'avance.
Il faisait près de -30°C à l'extérieur & nous étions en pleine discussion émotionnellement chargée. Dans ce contexte, nous demander de partir sans avertissement ni alternative démontre un manque de considération & d'empathie.
Nous avons passé un très bon moment dans ce brunch recommandé par un ami. Service impeccable, personnel agréable & plats de qualité à la hauteur des visuels !

Les plats étaient tout simplement délicieux & les boissons étaient vraiment biens décorées.
Sachez que le restaurant est toujours bondé mais nous avons trouvé de la place rapidement.
Prix un peu au-dessus des autres restaurants mais reste raisonnable.
Je recommence à 100%!
The food here tastes as good as it looks, & thats saying a lot since its among the most aesthetic restaurant food I have ever ordered. As seen in the pictures the lattes are insanely beautiful & im inspired to try this for myself. The pistachio latte in particular was delicious!
For the food, the smoked salmon poached eggs are my favorite poached eggs ive had, probably because I think the avocado béarnaise sauce is such a great idea. The flowers to garnish were so pretty. The truffle fries were so good (& huge), as was the shakshuka. The pictures of the yuzu french toast speak for itself, seriously an impressive presentation.
The pistachio cheesecake was a lovely dessert with an inventive touch of balsamic flavor.
Our waitress was very helpful-whether you are a tiktok influencer or not you wont be disappointed at Antipode.
La leilleure place de brunch de Montreal. Jaurais aime tout essayer. Les latte sont au top & la presentation des plats impeccable. Une belle adresse du plateau.
