The positive sides were drinks & service. Their themed lattes are spot on. Not too sweet & still can taste coffee itself. Service was welcoming & took care of my partner's allergy request.
However, once we received our food, our enthusiasm has sunk. I ordered croque tartiflette & honestly I don't understand how anyone can enjoy 2 pieces of bread sprinkled by some bacon & covered by some cheddar while paying over 30$ for it including tax & tips. I guess some people do. My fault to order that. Arrived cold.
My partner ordered truffle & champignons Benedict. Came stone cold. The green sause tasted straight up as a fish. There was no even a hint to taste any truffle since that fish taste overshadows anything on the plate.
In conclusion, will probably come back to get a take out for a coffee. In terms of food, it was the worst brunch I've tried so fa

We enjoyed brunch here overall. The pain doré yuzu was really good, the sweetness from the bread was balanced out nicely by the sourness from the dipping, but it's too sweet to finish on its own. I loved the merguez though, especially when you mix everything together with the yogurt base, sauces, & poached eggs.
My only real complaints: the coffee tasted more like syrup & milk with a bit coffee flavor than actual latte.. & the tip options start at 17%… just something to keep in mind.

Always tasty if you're willing to brave the cold waiting. Food is tasty & coffees are aesthetically very pleasing

Recommend their specialty coffee & drinks, taste fresh & rich. The food, not my style, mixed too much different ingredients, styles & cultures & ends up as neither tasty nor quality. We had high expectation, but the food only looks good. Disappointed.

The french toast was out of this world! The salmon egg benedict was a bit too salty.
I would come back just for the french toast honestly.
The service was okay, not the best, & I feel like ice in water should be custom, especially in the summer.
The biscoff latte was delicious, although not really strong in coffee.
Overall nice experience, i would need to try other stuff on their menu to see if this place is overrated.
One thing for sure is it is kind of expensive, but brunch in mtl usually is.

A classy casual brunch restaurant, serving French dishes. Known for speciality coffee drinks.

Coffee was very good. We weren't a fan or the waffle chicken. Eggs & truffles was ok.

Great food & coffee, the pistachio latte is amazing! The down side is waiting in line, waiting & waiting & waiting for the food, service is rushed & not the best.

Their Egg Benedicts are so good (tried Salmon, brisket & sausage - & the brisket was so far the best!!), the sauce, the kick, the presentation... everything very original! Love their fat ass coffees too, Tiramisu latte is my fav. The only downside is the wait time, if you wanna avoid lines & the orders getting delayed, go before 9:30 AM especially for weekends.

Worth the Wait & Exceeded Expectations! After three unsuccessful attempts due to the long lines, I finally got the chance to try this spot on a mid-day Friday-no line, & it was absolutely worth the wait! I had high expectations from everything I had seen online, & somehow, they still managed to surpass them. The fun coffee creations were delicious, & the food was incredibly unique, with bold & unmatched flavors that made every bite memorable. I only wish I lived closer so I could come back more often! If you're in Montreal, this place is a must-visit.

This place is amazing ! I recommend going between 9am & 10am since it's rather empty & you'll be able to enjoy your meal without a huge crowd. It gets super busy enough to have people waiting outside after 10 & honestly it's not the best, feeling rushed to eat & it being super loud. The food is really good! They have amazing specialty coffees & their shakshouka is to die for !

The best place for a Coffee, Drink & Snack in town! Especially if you're looking for the'instgramable' effect in everything - from the vibe, to the drinks & food. It was visible that everyone behind the counter was putting in the effort to design every plate with attention to detail. The mini french toast was a great finisher & the Croque Madame was a clear winner! There was simply so much going on with a simple coffee, all we could say was Wow. Best of all, everything for fairly priced.

I had this place earmarked for visit for a few months now, & made my way finally last week. This place is right on Laurier avenue & hard to miss from the street as there is always a queue up outside. The good thing: they give freshly bakes hot chocolatines to all waiting. The restaurant has a Greco-Mediterranean decor with a central bar & seating all around it. The place somewhat feels a little crowded, which is why I am docking one star, along with the fact that, for such a popular place, they don't take reservations. It is painful having to stand out in the cold for 90 minutes. The food & the coffee make the wait worth it though. They were all delicious & the service was reasonably prompt.

The smoked salmon & avocado egg's Benedict was absolutely delicious! I was really looking forward to trying the lattes with the pistachio & bueno rim, but the actual coffee is sweetened beyond comprehension. We could barely finishing drinking them. It would be awesome to be able to order them unsweetened (maybe you can, but I didn't think to ask). We went on a Sunday morning & waited about 30 min in line. Overall, I'd go back for the benedict alone!

10/10 for their AMAZINGLY fancy coffees. We tried the Tiramisu, Pistacchio & Pumpkin lattes. We also loved the food; croque madame, eggs benedict with salmon & guacamole & the francescinha. Perfect portions left us feeling satisfied & not overly stuffed. The waitress did not make us feel rushed during our brunch. ONLY downside was the one hour+ wait outside, but luckily it was a beautiful day. Will definitely come back!

Tucked away in a charming corner of Montreal, offers a brunch experience that transcends the ordinary. This cozy coffee shop exudes warmth & charm from the moment you step in, but it's the food that truly steals the show. Here, dishes are not merely meals-they are edible works of art. Each plate is a masterpiece, both visually stunning & bursting with flavor, delivering everything one could hope for in a leisurely weekend brunch. What sets Antipode apart is its playful creativity. The menu is full of unexpected pairings that somehow work beautifully, like the pistachio latte-a unique creation that, while a touch too sweet for my taste, was a delightful surprise. It's exactly the kind of imaginative twist that keeps you coming back for more. The dessert, however, was the undeniable highlight of the meal. The pain perdu-a glorious, indulgent take on French toast-was generously portioned, perfect for sharing, though I found it difficult to stop eating even when full. Its richness & comforting sweetness made for a perfect ending to a delightful meal. If you're looking to treat yourself on a lazy Saturday, Antipode is the place to be. Start with the eggs Benedict & a pistachio latte, then finish with the pain perdu for a sweet, satisfying finale. & do bring a friend-these generous portions are made to be shared, ensuring you both leave feeling content & in high spirits.
