Paul retourne au Canada en 2017, où il rejoint l’équipe du restaurant Agrikol à titre de chef cuisinier. Restaurant chouchou tant des Montréalais que des célébrités internationales, Agrikol rend hommage à la gastronomie d’Haïti et à sa culture foisonnante. Poursuivant sa mission de faire découvrir les joyaux gourmands de sa terre d’origine, le chef Paul se joint au nouveau Time Out Market de Montréal en novembre 2019, aux côtés des plus grands chefs en ville.
Les avis sur Americas BBQ se concentrent sur une viande de qualité, avec le picanha et la côte de boeuf souvent décrites comme parfaitement cuites et savoureuses, accompagnées d'une sauce appréciée, mais les portions apparaissent parfois faibles et les prix parfois trop élevés pour un service rapide. Les accompagnements et les autres plats obtiennent des avis mitigés: le saumon est souvent excellent et les wings bien préparés, mais le mac and cheese peut être trop liquide et le brisket assez sec, les frites varient. Le service est parfois critiqué pour des délais longs et une confirmation de commande manquante, mais d'autres clients trouvent le personnel poli et professionnel et signalent une ambiance positive en cuisine. Dans l'ensemble, Americas BBQ est perçu comme une adresse à tester pour les amateurs de viande, avec des mentions élogieuses sur les steaks mais une expérience qui peut être inégale et dépendante du plat et du moment.
The steak & salad were great. Price was too high for a fast food service. Not a huge fan of fries & wish there would have been another option. The tres leche cake was not good at all. It didn't even taste what it's suppose to taste like & it didn't come with fruit.
Brisket was very dry. Fries were crispy. Chicken wings, excellent, coleslaw had too much salt & vinegar. Ribs were okay. Food arrived in a timely manner. Pickled onions cut the grease rather nicely. The beans were cooked with molasses, give me Canadian Pork & Beans any day.Don't get me wrong , the food was adequate but it remained just that. To have it once is okay but I will not be repeating the experience.

Grilled Beef Picanha Steak
Served with chimichurri asado, fries & salad
J'ai dégustée un steak de portion parfaite, cuisson parfaite , sauce goûteuse & parfaire. Bravo l'équipe super ambiance en cuisine. Mon nouveau to go pour un un festival de saveurs
Food was Ok. I expected something more tasty. The fries were good, but the sandwich was heavy on mustard & the meat wasn't the greatest. The chicken sandwich wasn't too bad. It looked like they used vacuum seals for all their food. Service was slow, & not enthusiastic at all. It was very busy in the time out market & seats were difficult to find.
Not sure if they changed things up but I'm surprised by the bad reviews. I had no issues with my order of ribeye. Great flavor, right doneness, sliced, & presented with three sauces. Came with a tasty side salad & fries. $35CAD is a good price, all things considered.
Really a fun place to be ! Loved the ambiance. The food isn't expensive (you can eat for 20-30$ easily for an average/good quality). If you plan to drink, you'll spend a good 100$ for a mediocre/average quality. Ex: A bottle of a 20$ wine will cost you 60$+, a cocktail is 25$ & a regular beer 15$. It's totally worth it if you want to eat & drink a little with your friends in a great atmosphere before clubbing downtown.

Located on the top floor of the Eaton Centre, Time Out Market has an great atmosphere & vibe. I have yet to try any of the restaurants, but the beer/wine bar was above my expectations. Bartenders & staff are very friendly & welcoming. Prices are fairly reasonable, I'd recommend the Flacatoune beer by Microbrasserie Charlevoix. 🍺 Can get very busy after five on weeknights, so arrive early.
The Time Out market in Montreal is 100% worth visiting if you love food! It has various cuisine options & it's hard to choose one! I ended up going with the barbeque option & got a great plate of steak & fries which were both 10/10! There is a reserved seating section (18+) & a generic cafeteria seating style in front of all the restaurant options. Endless options for food & drinks!
Very disappointed, 4 pieces of chewy lamb, french fries & a salad for 30$ Even for the service, wanted to change the fries for their mac n cheese & they couldn't... If the food was delicious, i would not have mind the poor service, but as mentioned, the lamb was super chewy, hard to cut & harsld in mouth. I will unfortunately not go back! Paul Toussaint is an amazing chef, but the results of his techniques did not reflect in the meal I had!
I had the grilled beef picanha steak served with chimichurri asado. The steak was done very nice & tasted good. It came with a side of both salad & fries which was a lot. The wait to get the food was long. The food tasted good so it was worth the wait.

Ordered a smoked meat sandwich & the portions are very very small compared to the norm in Montreal, not less expensive either. Fries were decent, as they were fresh, ordering was pleasant also. (Espresso cup for scale in photo)
Their Salmon grill was delicious, that cames with mash potatoes or quinoa salads. We took potatoes fries too. Each & every items were so yammy. The cook made all those items with care & passion. We loved & enjoyed their food.
