Paul retourne au Canada en 2017, où il rejoint l’équipe du restaurant Agrikol à titre de chef cuisinier. Restaurant chouchou tant des Montréalais que des célébrités internationales, Agrikol rend hommage à la gastronomie d’Haïti et à sa culture foisonnante. Poursuivant sa mission de faire découvrir les joyaux gourmands de sa terre d’origine, le chef Paul se joint au nouveau Time Out Market de Montréal en novembre 2019, aux côtés des plus grands chefs en ville.
Americas BBQ offre un mélange de steaks remarquables et de barbecue solide, le picanha cuit parfaitement, les ribs et le saumon recevant des éloges, et les avis soulignent les saveurs, tandis que certains plats manquent comme le mac and cheese trop liquide ou le brisket parfois sec et des sauces parfois trop salées; les portions et la valeur varient et quelques visites sont marquées par des temps d attente plus longs ou un service inégal, mais lorsque la cuisine est à la hauteur les steaks et les plats grillés impressionnent et l'attention portée à la cuisson se remarque.
C'était tellement délicieux que j ai pas le choix de laisser 5 étoiles. J ai commander des ribs au whiskey du Kentucky. ( une tuerie!!) La viande etait tendre & bien marinée & les frites bien croustillantes ! Bravo chef🙏
It is overpriced & the amount of the portion for two it's very small even not a half rack of pork, that came whit only 3 bones, 6 chiken wing & two slices of brisket it's
Ordered grilled cheese & mac & cheese & waited more than 30 minutes. When I checked at the counter, they realized the cook had forgotten to make our order. Sadly, the food didn't make up for the wait - the grilled cheese was not good & the mac & cheese was very dry. Disappointing experience overall.
I enjoyed the flavor of the pork ribs & felt they were cooked just right. The portions weren't very big though, so I had to eat my kids leftovers. Prices were comparable to the other restaurants in the market.
Honestly, the food was alright. The mac & cheese was soupy & needed more flavour & the wings were fine. The wait time to get the order was ridiculously long considering there was zero lineups at their counter.
The steak & salad were great. Price was too high for a fast food service. Not a huge fan of fries & wish there would have been another option. The tres leche cake was not good at all. It didn't even taste what it's suppose to taste like & it didn't come with fruit.
Brisket was very dry. Fries were crispy. Chicken wings, excellent, coleslaw had too much salt & vinegar. Ribs were okay. Food arrived in a timely manner. Pickled onions cut the grease rather nicely. The beans were cooked with molasses, give me Canadian Pork & Beans any day.Don't get me wrong , the food was adequate but it remained just that. To have it once is okay but I will not be repeating the experience.
The food is good. Not extremely good but not bad at all. The lady staff with a yellow shirt though is disappointing to say the least. I can barely hear her & she doesn't seem appreciative as we are clients for them. I wanted to make sure what we ordered as she seemed unconvincing. However she didn't say anything & made us pay without confirming what we ordered. Had to check the receipt to be sure. Very disappointing service. If they keep this up then it's not worth it.
