I had an amazing experience dining at Amalia! The food was excellent, but what truly stood out was the level of service. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome & taken care of.
Our server was Bella attentive without being intrusive & incredibly friendly throughout the entire meal. She anticipated needs before we even had to ask & made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. 10/10 would come return.

We ordered the grilled meat assortment for 2 at 155$. After waiting for over an hour for our dish, the octopus was inedible/rubbery due to being over cooked. The piri-piri chicken was also dry & served cold. The steak was well cooked, but hadn't rested, such that the blood was dripping of the table & onto the floor. A waiter had to come clean it up. The sauce was like water. When we mentioned this to our waiter, they said they'd bring it up with the manager who didn't come see us & rather offered us a glass of port. We refused & left. We were so disappointed with our experience because this restaurant looked promising & the menu appealing. The poorly executed grilled meat assortment & the lack of service are the reason we cannot recommend this place.
My experince here was really great the food was amazing fresh & Peri-Peri chicken was delightful.The wine was amazing & smooth. The peach cobbler was fantastic & so yummy & delicious. I definitely coming back for sure with the rest of my family.
Brought our daughters for their respective birthdays. The grilled octopus & croquettes of cod amazing. The Piri Piri chicken, lamb chops & steak tartare delicious. First time here & very memorable meal. Great job & success to this place. Beautiful decor as well. All was made better by the attentive service by Lea. Wonderful night overall!
We had a great time at Amalia. The food was good, the cocktails too. The ambiance was good, more on the intimate side which we loved. The service was amazing. Our server Tony was efficient, attentive & super friendly. Will be back for sure!

Sat at thr bar, not very comfortable but the food was good, definitely a table next time. Nce presentation on the plates, espresso martini was excellent. Favorites have to be the beef tartare & the full fish. Nice wine selection & friendly staff.
Really enjoyed Amaya. The food was very good, the service was exceptional, & the ambiance was great. Overall, it was a really nice experience & I'd definitely go back.

la nourriture etait tres bonne hier soir mais la serveuse au debut nous a donné un bon service mais elle a changé son visage des que on a donné des tips. Sa se fait pas de minimiser les tips des clients & de se facher à la minute qui suit, elle nous calculait plus, meme quand on partait cest nous on est venu lui dire bonne soirée. Respectez les tips des clients car cest pas obligatoire, merci!
I have to say my wife & i loved our experience at Amalia. The food was amazing from begging to end. We started off with the oysters & a beef tartare which were amazing & we had the shared meat plater as our main & the portions & quality of meat were top notch! We also loved the cozy ambiance & excellent serveice. We will definetly be going back & i highly recommend Amalia if your looking for a nice night out with amazing food!

Note: this is NOT an authentic Portuguese restaurant, it is an INSPIRED by Portuguese cuisine. First, the service was excellent. The ambience & decor was beautiful. Subtle music that adds a nice touch. The dishes were okay but not wow. The octopus was a little overcooked & had a'burnt' after taste. The lamb chops are small portions & unfortunately, over cooked. They came on a bed of purée sweet potatoes.The New York striploin was actually very good & very tender (medium). The cost for two people will run you about $100 per person. Overall the experience was 3.5/5
We came here for our 5th year anniversary & everything was impeccable. Marilou was our waitress & she was so amazing, accommodating & so thoughtful. The food, atmosphere & service were 1000/10!
From the food, to the atmosphere, to the professional service, Amalia is a prime example of a fantastic restaurant. The food platters are filling, tasty & amazing. Great place to visit if you are celebrating a special occasion. The decor is beautiful & the food timing was amazing. The drinks were tasty & rich in alcohol. Will definitely be back.
