Pour vrai ça fait plusieurs fois que je veux manger un tassot , & la seule réponse que je reçois est nous avons pas , je trouve ça vraiment ridicule, que vous offrez un plat que vous êtes même pas capable de faire , ridicule & en plus vous donnez beaucoup de viande graisseuses
Première fois & ce fut une déception : la personne qui nous a servis choisissait la viande la plus grasse, ils ne nous ont donné qu'une seule portion de plantain alors qu'on en voit trois sur la photo ; le riz était bon, par contre.

La fille a la caisse a été très mal polie, ne voulait pas répondre à nos questions & ce n'est pas la première fois. Je pense que pour travailler au service à la clientèle ça prend un minimum de capacité de s'exprimer & un peu de courtoisie pour que les clients aient le goût de retourner la prochaine fois.
I ordered there today & after eating my dish i stated vomiting. I could smell a fool odor from the macaroni salad so i did not bother tasting it. I don't recommend that spot at all
First time...came here pretty much to try this place. Decided on the griot. I thought it looked small but the portions are good. Pikliz wasn't spicy but had good flavor.....so it meant I could use more. Given a choice of 3 salads of about 5 different ones. Griot was nicely fried on the outside & still jumped cu & tender on the inside. Will have to come back to try the cabri!
Aleken est un restaurant completement bon.Je n'ai Jamais au grand jamais manger un plat haïtien aussi bon.Le service est vraiment d'une qualité impressionante.Aleken est un restaurant que je recomande à tout le monde.
My girlfriend & I ordered a chicken & griot plate. The menu promised macaroni & rice for each plate. What we received was the complete opposite.
Instead of proper sides, the dish had a handful of spring-mix leaves sitting in the same container as the hot food not on the side, not separated literally touching the rice & meat. It looked like decoration, but the heat turned it into a wilting, soggy salad that made the entire plate steamy & mushy. The contrast was unpleasant, & the salad was unusable.
To make matters worse, my girlfriend's plate never showed up at all. We had to split my meal, which was already small, leaving us both still hungry. Portion-wise, it wasn't even enough for one person, let alone two.
The photos online are misleading. The plates in the pictures look full, clean, & intentional. What we got felt rushed, poorly assembled, & nowhere near the advertised presentation.
The only reason we ate it is because we were starving - & I'll be honest, the taste wasn't terrible. I'd give the flavor 3.9/5, but everything else from accuracy to portion to presentation was a miss.
If you're ordering because of the pictures, manage your expectations. What's advertised is not what's delivered.
Disappointing, & unfortunately not a place I'd recommend.
Exceptionnellement bon!! Le seul problème c'est qu'il y a vraiment beaucoup de monde dans l'aire de restauration du Carrefour Laval mais c'est pas la faute du restaurant... Aucune attente, employée sympathique qui donne des bons conseils si on ne sait pas quoi choisir... Les prix sont un peu chers mais ça vaut la peine!!
