My girlfriend & I ordered a chicken & griot plate. The menu promised macaroni & rice for each plate. What we received was the complete opposite.
Instead of proper sides, the dish had a handful of spring-mix leaves sitting in the same container as the hot food not on the side, not separated literally touching the rice & meat. It looked like decoration, but the heat turned it into a wilting, soggy salad that made the entire plate steamy & mushy. The contrast was unpleasant, & the salad was unusable.
To make matters worse, my girlfriend's plate never showed up at all. We had to split my meal, which was already small, leaving us both still hungry. Portion-wise, it wasn't even enough for one person, let alone two.
The photos online are misleading. The plates in the pictures look full, clean, & intentional. What we got felt rushed, poorly assembled, & nowhere near the advertised presentation.
The only reason we ate it is because we were starving - & I'll be honest, the taste wasn't terrible. I'd give the flavor 3.9/5, but everything else from accuracy to portion to presentation was a miss.
If you're ordering because of the pictures, manage your expectations. What's advertised is not what's delivered.
Disappointing, & unfortunately not a place I'd recommend.

Exceptionnellement bon!! Le seul problème c'est qu'il y a vraiment beaucoup de monde dans l'aire de restauration du Carrefour Laval mais c'est pas la faute du restaurant... Aucune attente, employée sympathique qui donne des bons conseils si on ne sait pas quoi choisir... Les prix sont un peu chers mais ça vaut la peine!!

Le griot était gras aucun morceaux moelleux & juteux pour le prix d'une canette & plat à 23$ ça vaut pas tant la peine par contre le riz était bon.

Je m'attendais à plus mais acceptable au goût
Un plat de légumes avec viande + un jus de fruits 29…$ un peu cher à mon goût! Je ne pense pas y retourner.

I ordered the Chicken & rice meal. It was supposed to come with sauce for the chicken, there was no sauce. The plantains tasted as if they should have been a dessert, very sweet. Then there was the spiciest coleslaw I've ever tasted, like grated hot banana peppers, it was gross. The plantains & spicy coleslaw sat on top of a super dry piece of chicken. Then there was the rice...delicious. Last but certainly not least, is the pasta salad, again..delicious. Thank goodness because I was starving.

Legumes, riz blanc & sauce pois ou purée
Très bon & je le recommande. Il faut juste penser aux enfants en offrant un petit plat qui fera leur bonheur & celui des parents. Bonne alternative au mal bouffe repas enfant.

La nourriture est très bonne, surtout le poulet bbq! Le service à la clientèle est excellent. Tellement les employés sont chaleureux, cela me donne plus envie de venir manger dans leur restaurant.
