Belle ambiance. Pas trop bruyant. La nourriture était bonne mais jai trouvé le choix plutôt limité.
Au moment de ma visite, il avait des difficultés avec leur bière en fût ainsi que tout item de nourriture contenant du poulet. Je ne sais pas si c'est l'exception ou récurent.
Went for the Magic the Gathering Lorwyn Eclipsed prerelease. Nice ambience, good turnout (around 30 players), & excellent prize support, two booster packs per win, which is better than most competitors & keeps people playing until the end.
The downside is the food/bar service happening right next to active gameplay. I usually avoid eating there for that reason, but I took a chance tonight & ordered a burger instead of eating elsewhere. That decision unfortunately resulted in a server dropping mayonnaise all over my expensive bag I had just received for Christmas. While the waiter did his best to clean it, the bag is still stained, less than a month after the holidays.
Thankfully my cards were safe, but the experience makes me hesitant to return. Good event structure, but the food-&-cards mix is risky if you care about your belongings.
Ils ont maintenant adopté le format Randolph avec des experts en jeux qui expliquent & conseillent. C'est agréable, mais il faut s'attendre au prix qui vient avec (burger 20$+ poutine 20$+) & au coût d'entrée qui est plus ou moins bien annoncé. Les mercredis & jeudis c'est format traditionnel sans maître de jeu & sans frais d'entrée.
Belle diversité de produits (grandes marques & concepteurs locaux). Personnel sympathique & engagé, de bon conseil !
L'animateur de jeux était vraiment super dynamique & agréable. Une très belle soirée. J'ai particulièrement apprécié qu'il y avait de la place & que nous pouvions nous entendre. Lorsqu'on essaie de jouer & que le bruit est trop élevé, on lève le son & ça la rend l'expérience moins agréable. Nous avons pris des cocktails qui ont été très appréciés.

Ordered a burger, 30 minutes later they told me they don't have enough meat for a full barbare burger, fine not sure why it took a full 30 minute to notice they don't have the meat for a burgers, they told me they can make the smaller burger, an hour & 30 minutes later they came back with a poutine instead , what the hell ?
Le personnels est accueillant, sympathique ,très bon service. J' ai été pour des achats de Noël & à une soirée de jeux. Vraiment agréable.

A cozy restaurant & a boardgame store, the Abyss is probably one of the best places to go for hobbying, they have a huge room for wargaming & the food is great.
Great food, drink, & atmosphere. Well worth the visit. Staff is super friendly & helpful as well
