The place is cozy & decor is nice, but don't be deceived, the food is over priced & is not that good. It took forever for our 40 dollars shishtawok plate to come we thought they forgot about it. When it came we noticed the fries are soaking with oil & some are burnt, we told the waiter & she took the plate back to the kitchen & said they will replace it. 20 minutes later she came back with an attitude & said the oil is new & the fries were just made & there was nothing wrong with it they can't understand why did we complain. I felt so bad about this I couldn't continue eating. The new plate had the same exact issue with oily fries. At the end I spoke to the waiter about it, they offered us free desserts but this whole situation & the way it was handled made this experience very unpleasant. I would never come here again.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Abo al Zoulof restaurant & it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality & made to feel right at home. The service was exceptional - Ali & Sana were so attentive, friendly, & incredibly professional, making sure every need was met with a smile. Now, the food - where do I even begin? The flavors were absolutely divine. Every dish was a perfect blend of authentic spices & fresh ingredients, showcasing the best of Arabic cuisine. From the tender kebabs to the perfectly seasoned hummus & the rich, aromatic rice, everything was cooked to perfection. Each bite was a celebration of flavor, & it's clear that the chefs here truly know their craft. If you're craving mouthwatering Arabic food & a dining experience that makes you feel like royalty, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommend!

The ambiance was warm & inviting, with amazing Middle Eastern music that instantly transported us to another world. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, & went above & beyond to make us feel welcome. The food was simply outstanding authentic, flavorful, & beautifully presented. Every dish was a burst of flavors, from the fresh appetizers to the perfectly spiced mains. It's clear that a lot of love & passion goes into their food, & it truly made the meal unforgettable. If you're looking for a place in Montreal with great vibes, delicious Middle Eastern cuisine, & a welcoming atmosphere, Abu El Zoulof is a must-visit! Highly recommend to anyone wanting a memorable dining experience.
We accidentally saw this place when visiting Montreal, & we fell in love!! Clean & very authentic. Amazing staff & so attentive to little things, but most of all, the food is so tasty & with a great presentation. Just an FYI, plates are good portions & not cheap, but totally worth it. It's on our to go to list whenever we're in the city.
The food here is so good! Maybe my favourite muhammara ever? Fattouche is A+. Also, they serve their falafels in a brilliant way, fried with a hole in the middle, much like a medu vada, so there's absolutely no dryness. So delicious.
WOW -- excellent cuisine with original flavors & presentation, & large portions, not to mention a very nice atmosphere & good service. I ordered a fish dish that was huge & scrumptious. My husband ordered lamb, also delicious. Highly recommend.
