I used to recommend this place wholeheartedly. It was worth the trip just to watch the spectacle of the'all-business' owner doing 3 different jobs at once (bartender, karaoke DJ, tambourine player).

Sure, he puts one song after the other with ZERO seconds of pause between each, so you have to run to the stage when it's your turn & start singing mid-sentence.

Sure, if there's a long instrumental solo in your song, he'll just skip ahead during the song with no warning.

Sure, his loud, off-tempo tambourine playing will mess up your timing.

But this was all part of the charm of the place. It was an acceptable & amusing level of abuse.

Until I went there again last night, & suddenly the pitcher was 33$. Thirty-three dollars. Nuh-huh.

Pretty cool spot if you're a karaoke fan! Nice decor, pretty good service, even on busy nights. It's a good vibe, & that's coming from someone who isn't really a karaoke fan! The one complaint is that the washrooms are super gross. Thankfully, I'm a guy, so there's minimal contact, but keep that in mind.View more
