This is a small restaurant located inside a mall, & it's a bit hard to spot from the outside. Once inside, you'll notice the clean & well-maintained interior. The space feels simple but cozy, & I was especially impressed by how clean the washroom was - a small detail that makes a big difference. The service was excellent. The waitress was friendly, warm, & took the time to chat with me. I really appreciated her positive attitude. She recommended some of their signature dishes, which turned out to be great choices. I was initially worried that I had ordered too much food, but she assured me it would be fine - & she was right! The portions were just right & left me feeling satisfied, not overstuffed. As for the food, it was very good. While it's not authentic Shanghai cuisine, it features a variety of dishes that you would commonly find in China. The flavors were spot-on, the ingredients tasted fresh, & everything was cooked to perfection. There's honestly nothing to complain about. Overall, it was a great experience. Tasty food, clean environment, & attentive service - I'll definitely be back!
Belle découverte. Bon, Frais & les prix sont raisonnables. Tout ce que j'ai mangé hier étaient frais, délicieux & gouteux, tellement que j'y retourne des maintenant après avoir écrit ce commentaire. PS. Un des seul endroit que j'ai essayé sur la rive-sud ou je recommanderais le poulet général tao.

This hidden gem of a restaurant serves exceptional food, especially their dumplings. The General Tsao chicken consisted of proper pieces of chicken (& not a slim piece of chicken meat surrounded by overwhelmingly deep fried batter). The proportions & selection were just right, each plate was plenty for the typical person. For those that are hungry, their variety of choices would remedy that hunger. As for the service they were kind & courteous ensuring that we lacked nothing as well as inquiring about feedback about the taste. The decor is modern & the eloquent painted murals add a nice touch. I'll mention that we were served in French but I'm certain that the staff can serve in English as well as many Chinese dialects. I've added 1930 Shanghai to my list of favorite Chinese style restaurants. Thanks to the staff at 1930 Shanghai. I'll be seeing you often from this point forwards.
The food is cooked perfectly. It was delicious. I liked some more than others but in general it was very good. Here's what I ordered: -Beef & curry fried dumplings -Beef & chicken skewer (I liked the less, meat was too hard to chew) -Lotus leaf wirh sticky rice & chicken -Imperial rolls -Chicken & Shiitake mushrooms xiao long bao -Seasme balls -Friend creamy custard buns For arround 70$
Très bon repas. La sauce aux arachides est très bonne. Je vais essayer autre chose sur le menus la prochaine fois. Je vous recommande d'essayer les xiao long bao pour un 1er essai je vous recommande les porcs sucrés x2 & aussi les X6 porc, poireaux & crevettes. Ils sont vraiment délicieux ça vaut la peine d'essayer. Moi-même je suis ne suis pas un fan de pâtes cuit à la vapeur mais ceux-ci sont vraiment exceptionnels. La sauce aux arachides est excellente je vous recommande d'essayer C4.
Went there this week, wanted to try new dumplings place. What a disappointment. The food was not good. & what was worst is the service. The young lady who served us, was not welcoming from the beginning, not friendly at all. Very rushed. We ordered juice for our 4 years old daughter she almost threw on the table the cup & the box of juice. We were shocked by such attitude. The rest of the food was brought to the table the same way.

Bon resto asiatique. Mets typiquement chinois. Excellente soupe won ton (gros bol). Éclairage de néon blanc...ouf pour l'ambiance! Facture très abordable. Pas de permis d'alcool. Beaucoup de takeout. Service un peu long.
I ordered quite a few times from this restaurant & I was always satisfied with the food! It's fresh & tasty (especially the dumplings! I'm drooling as I'm typing my reviews!) the price are very affordable for what you get & the staffs are friendly!
Just discovered this gem! Portion of the soup dumpling were very generous compared to more renowned places! So delicious. I will come back & recommend this place to others as well
Delicious- from the Pork & Coriander Long bao to the General Tao (with actual chicken not scraps of gross leftovers), & very good portion sizes, it is worth a trip or even to order via Uber. They even have Lotus Lead Sticky Rice! Some dishes last me two meals or can be shared as the portions are generous - even the small wonton soup. Very clean & tidy restaurant.
