This year, Le Marché des Saveurs du Québec is blowing out 25 candles, celebrating a quarter century dedicated to showcasing the richness of Québec's terroir. Founded in 1998, the business settled in the Jean-Talon Market in 2000 and is now led by Isabelle Drouin and Simon Beaudoin, who have taken up the torch and proudly carry on this family story. Together, they continue the mission of offering an exceptional showcase for the more than 200 local producers and artisans they represent, while serving as a meaningful link between these creators and the city's food-loving residents.

As the Holidays approach, the team invites the public to support local businesses and discover a delicious selection perfect for festive celebrations: artisanal products from across the province, Québec cheeses and meats, ready-to-eat dishes, and spirits from Québec.

Great news!

With the launch of their new transactional website, it is now easier than ever to order your favourite Québec products online and have them delivered right to your home. As the site is brand-new, not all products are available yet, but the team is adding new ones every day. For a complete inventory and the latest arrivals, a visit to the boutique is still the best option.

A must-visit cheese counter for the Holidays

With more than 200 cheeses, primarily from Québec, the cheese counter remains one of the pillars of Le Marché des Saveurs du Québec. For the Holiday season, the team offers beautiful ready-to-serve cheese and charcuterie platters, custom-made to suit all tastes and budgets.

Fondue and raclette lovers will also find an impressive selection of raclette cheeses from various regions across Québec, perfect for festive gatherings.

This exceptional variety allows customers to discover the depth and diversity of artisanal Québec cheese, serving as a compelling reason to buy local and reinforcing the Marché's essential role in Montréal's culinary landscape.

A butcher shop at the heart of the gourmet experience

To round out its terroir-focused offerings, Le Marché des Saveurs du Québec introduced a butcher counter several years ago featuring local meats from small Québec producers. This initiative directly supports regional supply chains while offering customers high-quality products that are both transparent and traceable.

Today, the butcher shop offers a full counter dedicated to local meats and house-made products crafted by an experienced team. Guests can enjoy excellent cheeseburgers on site, along with a variety of ready-to-eat dishes that make everyday meals easier. The counter also features Holiday favourites, including the house-made tourtière, perfect for festive family gatherings.

A curated selection of Québec alcoholic beverages

Le Marché des Saveurs du Québec also offers a complete section dedicated to Québec-made alcoholic beverages, highlighting the impressive range of local expertise. Wine lovers will find a diverse selection of Québec wines, ideal for Holiday meals. Fans of fresh, crisp flavours will enjoy ice ciders and traditional ciders produced by passionate artisans. Finally, a variety of Québec microbrewery beers rounds out the selection, offering unique and seasonal products to share with friends and family. This carefully curated assortment makes the Marché a go-to destination for creating distinctly Québec food-and-drink pairings.
