Yiayia's Bread Company is a small business based in Montreal. We are a grandmother-grandson bread making duo using the Greek traditional baking methods that my yiayia (which means "grandmother" in Greek) taught me ever since I was a child.
Enjoying a warm slice of home made bread during visits to yiayia's house was a blessing that became normal, but one winter evening, an idea grabbed on to me as I was chowing down on the delicious fluffy dough cloud. I told her how the bread she makes is so good that it can easily be sold and without hesitation, her sweet high-pitched Greek accented voice spoke "Do it."
Indeed I did do it. Now, Yiayia's Bread Company is run out of her kitchen where I spent years under her wing learning her ways. Loaves are made fresh, by hand and with the care and love that yiayia Niki has always shown me.

Emilo delivered the bread (still warm, so the breads were just out of the oven for sure). Emilio brought our order straight into our kitchen, identified each loaf, telling my sister & I to enjoy, which we sure did -- had some even before supper -- couldn't wait!!!!
I especially love Chai, & the flavour that flowed through the bread was outstanding; my sister loved the raisin & honey loaf, (me too), however, their other loaves were just as outstanding, plus the bottle of Olive Oil was extremely tasty, has a really good flavour!
On a personal observation, Emilio's smile & personality is infectious -- a charming, caring & presentable young man -- his Yiayia (who I will definitely go to meet in the New Year), must be very proud of him , & for good reason, know she is, plus know Emilio adores his Yiayia, you can tell when he speaks of her -- that's love in his voice & in his heart!!
We shall definitely be placing orders again soon, & will continue to savour each & every bite!!

The bread was delivered to me so warm as if it just came out of the oven.....& it did. So delicious,chunks of kalamata Olives,really good,gonna be ordering more

I ordered the olive oil & the bread - both fantastic! We also had the organic feta & the oregano - feta is to die for! Thank you Emilio for such great products & for your service!
The breads were a total hit with the family! My kids loved the olive one the best but all the other ones were good too! I ordered the olive, chai & maple sugar one. All the breads were beautifully presented & still had a good bounce to them, even on day 2 & 3. Emilio delivered my breads fresh so I got a chance to try warm fresh bread. It was such a treat! My husband liked all of them & my fave was the maple sugar one. Emilio's story of making bread with his grandma is heart-warming & I will definitely be ordering more!
Wonderful fresh soft bread, & their olive oil is divine not bitter, & a green color I've rarely seen. Family run business & greeted us like family, got to meet Yia Yia (she's adorable!} The EVOO will be on reorder for us
My friend & client Maria told me that her son Emilio & his grandmother yaiyia .. where making bread together .. Well when I heard this story , I had to support Yiayia & Emilio .. Emilio was the sweetest . He help me understand the way it works to order on line .. so I ordered the Kalamata olive bread & I order the Greek olive oil .. Emilio delivered it to me with this amazing smile & so proud .. it was so nice to hear & see that this young man has something special going on with learning the old ways of life to him helping Yiayia & taking care of the social media .& the orders ..So tonite for Good Friday I decided I was going to have the kalamata bread with the Greek olive oil & balsamic vinegar...with sea food pasta well omg the bread the olive oil was sooooo good.. Check them out .. I promise you'll love it
The olive oil is absolutely delicious & fresh. This is quality olive oil at its finest. Ordering & delivery was on point. Very professional up-&-coming company highly recommended
Ordered the olive bread & brown sugar cinnamon bread. Both 10/10. Delivery driver was very nice & greeted me with a smile. Highly recommend trying this bread out.
There really is a difference between a loaf of bread & a truly great loaf of bread. Emilio's bread is truly a great one! The olive bread we ordered was flavorful & delicious. A must for any occasion or for a weekly treat. You can make delicious sandwiches, use it to dip into a savory sauce or just simply eat it out of the bag!

This deliciously hearty & thick multi-grain greek bread made with hand pitted Kalamata olives rolled neatly into the hand - kneaded dough, sprinkled with a freshly dried concoction of the finest herbs & baked to absolute crusty perfection, is good.
Yiayia's bread is fresh out of the oven. Delicious, well seasoned & best enjoyed with olive oil or balsamic. & with Yiayia as head chef, well you know you're in for a treat ;).

best bread in town!! i ordered the olive loaf & emilio went out of his way to stay up late making it & hand delivered it to me the next day :) couldn't ask for a better experience
Absolutely love Emilio & Yiayia! Top-notch service, super kind, super passionate & their homemade breads are to die for. My two favourites are the kalamata olive bread & the maple & nuts bread! Highly recommend! :D
