Please note that our address 3601 Saint-Charles Blvd, Kirkland, Quebec H9H 3S7 is not a storefront for casual drop-ins. We operate from a ghost kitchen and use this address as the pickup location for already scheduled orders.

About us

Yiayia's Bread Company is a small business based in Montreal. We are a grandmother-grandson bread making duo using the Greek traditional baking methods that my yiayia (which means "grandmother" in Greek) taught me ever since I was a child.

Enjoying a warm slice of home made bread during visits to yiayia's house was a blessing that became normal, but one winter evening, an idea grabbed on to me as I was chowing down on the delicious fluffy dough cloud. I told her how the bread she makes is so good that it can easily be sold and without hesitation, her sweet high-pitched Greek accented voice spoke "Do it."

Indeed I did do it. Now, Yiayia's Bread Company is run out of her kitchen where I spent years under her wing learning her ways. Loaves are made fresh, by hand and with the care and love that yiayia Niki has always shown me.

We provide pickups in Kirkland, but if you prefer a more convenient option, we can deliver straight to your door.

Fresh bread & absolutely delicious. Made without bleach or enriched ingredients. Highly recommended. Also they have natural soap from Greece unscented.

The best bread I have ever had! I have bought bread twice now & have tried all the flavors which I end up finishing each of them within an hour because of how good they taste!! Super delicious & highly recommend to everyone!

Absolutely love Emilio & Yiayia! Top-notch service, super kind, super passionate & their homemade breads are to die for. My two favourites are the kalamata olive bread & the maple & nuts bread! Highly recommend! :D
