The food was delicious! The portions were a good size too, I've had poke before where there's almost no salmon but that was not the case here. The ambiance was very nice too, kind of felt like being transported to another place with the well decorated interior.Voir plus

Awful quality sushi rice + mediocre quality fish cuts = very underwhelming
The tempura that we ordered was not even crispy (beside the shrimp, which makes us wonder if the shrimp was semi-precooked unlike the other vegetables, you can clearly see that the batter used are different)

Yen Cuisine Japonaise is such a cute spot, perfect for a date or a fun night out with friends. The vibe is super cozy with the brick wall & wooden panels, very Zen. But the real star? The food! The Sashimi Moriawase bowl was not only gorgeous but also insanely fresh & delicious. I also tried Soba noodles for the first time, & even though they were cold, the mix of black truffle mayo, tobiko, & scallops was chef's kiss! Can't wait to go back & try more dishes!Voir plus
