Afficher toutfresh(35) japanese(34) sushi(31) quality(27) recommend(26) bowl(20) sashimi(16) foie gras(15) rice(15)I had the wasabi octopus & the foie gras unadon. Portion was good. The octopus was cooked, not raw, which was honestly unexpected for the price charged. Tastes pretty good though. The unadon tasted alright, first spoonful was amazing, but then a bit heavy. The staff was quite busy. I took some time to get my orders in. Good vibes & decoration.
Their foie gras salmon sushi is to die for!! :)) Nice staff, super fresh sushi, & cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend!!Voir plus
This is an absolutely amazing restaurant! The ingredients are incredibly fresh, & everything we tried was exceptional. The foie gras & eel rice was absolutely delicious & so satisfying. The sashimi was unbelievably fresh with a perfect texture-simply top-notch! The salad was also very tasty & well-balanced. On top of the incredible food, the service was outstanding. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a truly delightful dining experience.Voir plus
I am quite disappointed with this place. I ordered foie gras & grilled eel rice bowl but got another combination with foie gras & scallop...& the napkin is dirty with very obvious brown stains. The atmosphere is kind of oppressive not relaxing. The price is okay...but I guess you will have a better option in mtl with the same price.Voir plus
yen has been my favourite restaurant for so long for their quality. but this last visit left me kind of disappointed... my partner & i both love their foie gras & uni dons & have been ordering the same things for so long. i feel like this time, the uni portion was not represented accurately in the picture, nor was the foie gras. & the biggest let down was that the rice seemed very old & hard... almost microwaved day old rice? on a more positive note, we did enjoy the tako wasabi we ordered to share as well as the service!Voir plus
Update: never coming back. This place went south. Seems like new management who doesn't care about the business. I got a stomach ache right after eating the tuna. Food USED to be so fresh & delicious. Proportion USED to be just right. So not only did they downsize, they're also giving you low quality food. Better take your money somewhere else. I went in April 2025 & noticed some difference. Came back in June, & it's just even worse. Old review: Went with friends & the food was fantasic 😍 We had the gyudon, niji chirashi, kaisen cappacio, salmon soba, foie gras salad, & some rolls but I forgot the name lol. Overall good!Voir plus
I would advise to check your take out food before you leave the restaurant... the foie gras that we had on our roll were SO tiny compared to what we would get at the restaurant, mind you this is one of my favorite restaurants ever, it seems like the quality is decreasing unfortunately. I attached both pictures to compare, this roll was $25!!!Voir plus
The taste is great,& it makes me feel very appetizing at first glance. The ingredients & dishes are also very fresh,& taste is moderately salty,& the heat is just right. I recommend the steamed egg with foie gras,it is so delicious! I can't stop eating the eel rice. Five-star recommendation!Voir plus
We tried this place for the first time a year ago & the food overall is good. The place was quite busy on Friday & even with reservation, we were warned upon entering that we only have 1h30min to eat! The seafood was fresh. The karaage were medium crispy. Taste is good overall but the beef meat in two dishes we ordered (Gyu tataki & gyu shiitake don) felt overcooked & chewy. The foie gras chawanmushi was delicious. We recently come back to this place & same as before, seafood dishes are delicious. Gyu tataki a bit chewy as always, maybe it's supposed to be like that? Sashimi pieces are thick & yummy!Voir plus
Very good sushi à la carte, our favorite is Samon Foie Gras Uramaki. Fish is fresh, decor is nice & service is fast!Voir plus
The fusion of foie gras & japanese food are mouthwatering. Definitely recommend the salmon roll with foie gras & unagi with foie gras rice bowl. Those two are out of this world.Voir plus
