Celebrating my birthday, staffs were very nice & welcoming. They paid attention to the occasion we have reserved & offered us a slice of cake to celebrate my birthday & even sang me happy birthday song.

Portions were generous. We ordered the sashimi platter, takoyaki, assorted tempura, & unagi don. I initially wanted a draft beer, but realized that the focus here is more on sake & whiskey. One suggestion: it would be great if they offered traditional tempura sauce instead of spicy mayo-especially if they're aiming to present themselves as an authentic Japanese restaurant. They were also out of uni, which was a bit disappointing. That said, the takoyaki & unagi don were great. I had the wasabi octopus & the foie gras unadon. Portion was good. The octopus was cooked, not raw, which was honestly unexpected for the price charged. Tastes pretty good though. The unadon tasted alright, first spoonful was amazing, but then a bit heavy. The staff was quite busy. I took some time to get my orders in. Good vibes & decoration.Voir plus

I decided to stop by this place because it looked promising & I'm so happy I did! It's a cute tucked away sort of place that is unassuming from the outside but so cozy inside.
