the turf n turf is every carnivores paradise: a mountain of tender, juicy, flavourful brisket & pastrami sandwiched between two fluffy, slightly toasted buns. where most sandwiches would've suffered from the ridiculous meatiness of the dish, the challah bread did an AMAZING job of containing it. it was thick & bready enough so that it doesn't get soggy & the meat didn't fall out, & the sweetness of the challah balanced the heavy, smoky flavours. the most special part was surprisingly not the melting, dripping meats, but the creamy, alfredo-like emulsions of swiss cheese & sauce smothered on top.

The most lovely staff & hospitality. I was told by a friend to try their pastrami sandwich & it was amazing, although VERY salty. I ordered the side of grilled zucchini as well & honestly that was the highlight. The desserts look incredible too! Definitely worth the trip.

How have I never been here!? Maybe one of the top 5 best sandwiches I've ever had. I LOVE smoked meat & have tried pretty much every sandwich in the city, & this pastrami sandwich was right up there at the very top.

You can't compare it to Schwartz's or Snowdon Deli, or Pete's, etc, because it's just so different, but in a good way. It's WAY richer & creamier, & you'll get what I'm saying when you try it.

An absolute must try!

J'ai passé un excellent déjeuner chez Yans Deli, une adresse que je voulais absolument tester depuis mon arrivée à Montréal. Je suis ravi de ne pas avoir tardé ! Le travail est impeccable, & la qualité des produits est au rendez-vous, Bravo !

Maybe it's just Uber Eats pricing but everything was overpriced, even before the delivery fees. I really wanted to try this place since it was getting hyped & it was local business & cuisine, but too far to get to in person.

Unfortunately everything was underwhelming. The pastrami sandwich & the big cheeseburger were typical portion & average flavours for a major markup. The beef bacon side was alright but a small portion.
