I do think it's a bit pricey for what it is. The waitress told us the side of pastrami came with 3 slices but it was only one 😂 she was very sweet though & the service was excellent.
Had a wonderful experience at Yans Deli. The interior is nice & inviting, creating a very pleasant atmosphere. The service was very attentive & friendly. I ordered the Nova Salmon dish - it was excellent! Fresh, flavorful & abundant. Also rugelach with cinnamon was soooo good. I highly recommend to try this place & looking forward to coming back!
Every dish we ordered was a standout. The coffees were excellent, the service warm & genuinely friendly, & the whole place had an inviting family?brunch vibe. The Nova salmon plate was unbelievably good, & the brisket & pastrami sandwiches were on another level. The omelette of the day-mushroom & Swiss-was perfectly done. Every plate felt thoughtfully crafted, with flavors & presentation that were truly elevated. Everything is smoked & cured in?house, & you can taste the freshness in every bite.

Hidden gem in Montreal. The steaks were honestly some of the best we've had - perfectly cooked, flavorful, & served sizzling hot. The pastrami was fresh & packed with flavor, & you can tell everything is made with real care & attention.
The atmosphere is casual & welcoming, but the food feels upscale without being pretentious. Service was friendly, attentive, & made us feel right at home.
If you're looking for a spot that combines authentic deli comfort food with incredible steakhouse quality, Yans Deli is absolutely worth the visit. We'll definitely be back.
Had an amazing brunch experience at Yan's Deli! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, cozy, & welcoming. The restaurant has such a great vibe - perfect for a relaxing weekend brunch with friends or family.
The food was honestly outstanding. Everything tasted incredibly fresh & flavorful, & you can tell that a lot of care goes into each dish. The portions were generous, beautifully presented, & absolutely delicious. The coffee & drinks were also excellent & paired perfectly with the meal.
What really made the experience stand out was the service. The staff were so kind, attentive, & friendly throughout the entire visit. Even though the place was busy, everything came out quickly & the team made us feel very well taken care of.
We loved it, my parents loved it, my kids loved it! That's a rare gem of a restaurant. I wish my grandparents were still around, because we'd come here every weekend, & they'd love it too. Everything was beyond expectation, & you could feel the craft & attention to detail behind each dish. Everything was fresh & full of flavours…equally nostalgic & modern. Can't recommend Yans more.

The staff was welcoming, polite, & provided excellent service from the moment I walked in. The restaurant was clean, organized, & had a comfortable atmosphere that made the experience even better. It's hard to find a place this consistent in both food & customer service. I'll definitely be returning & highly recommend Yans Deli to anyone looking for a satisfying meal.
We had the pleasure of trying the catering from Yan's. It was all very delicious. High praise for the club sandwich & the latkes. Everything tasted very fresh, salad, salmon, smoked meat, sausage, deli sandwiches, the portions & prices were excellent. I would certainly recommend it for the catering & will have to try a meal there soon.
Came in from Toronto & checked this place out-really glad I did! The food was amazing, everything tasted fresh & super flavorful. The vibe was great too, really chill & welcoming. Staff were awesome-friendly & made the whole experience even better. Definitely coming back next time I'm around!
