Rhe food definitely changed towards average from when it used to be Samurai Sushi. Nigiri was fresh, fish was super soft & fresh. Service was great. Food, overall is ok to satisfy a Japanese craving when on the mountain.
We had a great time & Jordan & his darling colleagues were so kind & fun
Souper incroyable, super ambiance. Repas délicieux & copieux Un coup de coeur pour notre serveur Jordan!
Jordan a donné un service exceptionnel! La bouffe était délicieuse. Ça vraiment été une superbe soirée pour les 57 ans de mon père.
Incredible food! Jordan was an excellent server. Get the inari, it's amazing.
Excelente! Muito atenciosos com as crianças. Sushi um pouco grande para crianças.
Not sure why some people leave this restaurant less than 5 stars. This place rocks
Good service but unfortunately the ramen came luke warm & sushi rice was stale & hard. Quite pricey for poor quality in food
A truly exceptional place to find in Mont Tremblant - or anywhere. The menu was a lot of fun - very original & featuring plenty of interesting new takes on Japanese favorites. Food was delicious & well prepared + beautifully presented. Decor & music were both thoughtful & well curated. 5 stars all around, for sure.
This is a smaller restaurant in the resort that serves Japanese cuisine. They were willing to accommodate my large group of 14 which was super nice of them. The food however was ok. The portions were kind of small imo & overall food quality & taste was also ok. The ramen was great for after ski. The rice for my salmon roll was pretty dry & the curry order didn't come with rice at all just a small plate of curry which didn't really feel like a main dish. The other more special rolls were pretty good so were there other apps like the takoyaki & gyoza. Overall not bad but i'll take a peek at other restaurants on the resort before opting for this one.
Expérience géniale pour passer les fêtes!! Très bon restaurant, je recommande à 100%. La serveuse Océane est au top!
So far my best experience in the village! We got the ramen & so gooood!
This restaurant is a tourist trap…it looks cool, but the food is low quality & poorly executed. The miso soup was "fine", & it turned out to be the high point of the meal. We had a rainbow roll that tasted like supermarket sushi. The pork gyoza looked nice, but tasted bland & uninspired. Kani traditional udon noodles was a bowl of dry linguini, covered by a thin layer of Rice Krispies, & seasoned with a discordant mix of ginger / garlic & heavy crab meat…this was a memorably unique & unpleasant dish. At $120 for 2 people, it's best to visit the many wonderful Quebecois restaurants within a 20 minute drive.
We had an amazing night at Yama. The food was delicious & the service was amazing. Great small plates to share followed by sushi rolls. Jordan, our server, knew the menu well & tailored the meal to us, making the experience even better. He picked a great sake for us as well! Thank you; Jordan! Looking forward to coming back.
Food was delicious & the service was great! We had a lot of fun sharing & trying different things. Staff was very knowledgeable & helpful.
Perfect service, the tuna kamikaze & miso soup were the best I've had
Really great little spot for a consistently good, really REALLY tasty meal. The only reason for pause is the prices are a bit high, but that's because you're in Tremblant. Specific shout out to the server Jordan & the cooks Simon, Vincent & Daniel for making KICK ASS food. Very much recommend this spot. If you can look past the price, it's wonderful.
