Food is excellent. Sushi is creative & fresh & the lunchtime ramen is a fantastic pick me up. The decor & smooth jazz music lends a wonderful relaxing vibe.
Nothing beats a hot bowl of ramen after a day of skiing. If you're off the mountain before 4pm, they offer a special that's well worth it for an après ski warm up. Pair it with some hot sake or a Sapporo & you're good to go. We also tried the torched salmon sushi & that was just outstanding. It's a bit pricier than your regular sushi joint but that's too be expected steps from the ski lift. Great atmosphere & excellent food options.
While the flavor here was decent, the value is incredibly poor. Even taking into account that this is located within the Mont-Tremblant pedestrian village, the pricing & portioning are still ridiculous.
The ramen was okay, but the portion was tiny for what you pay-it came with only one thin slice of meat & very little broth in the bowl. It was far too expensive for such a small serving. However, the most baffling part was the Pork Katsu Curry. It was served without rice, which is like ordering a burger without a bun or pasta without the noodles. When I asked the server about it, I was told rice is an extra $5 for a small bowl.
As an Asian person who has eaten in Japan many times, I've never seen Katsu Curry served this way. Between the lack of broth in the ramen & being nickel-&-dimed for a basic staple like rice, the experience was frustrating. Authentic taste means nothing if the serving practices don't make sense. I wouldn't recommend this spot if you're looking for a satisfying or honest meal.
Everything was absolute perfection. We tried it all! sushi, ramen, katsu curry, tofu, eggplant, Kara-age, unagi kabayaki.
Very nice place with a nice atmosphere. However, the ramen was more salty than usual. I usually know that it's suppose to be a bit salty, but today it was kinda extreme & it kinda ruined our dinner. We didn't even finish the whole broth.
Everything was amazing. Tried the cucumber salad, gyoza & ramen. The cucumber salad itself was so good, but the sauce just made it even better. The Gupta had this amazingly crispy crunch & taste, & the ramen broth & noodles were SO GOOD! 10/10 Orange green tea was also shockingly good, & exceeded my expectations by a long shot.
INCREDIBLE FOOD & SERVICE!!! I got the lunch ramen, takoyaki (best I've had in Canada), chicken don, & the matcha dessert. Holy moly - so good!
I had the ramen, gyoza, & sushi, everything was amazing!! Service was amazing too, our waiter Jordan was great! Highly suggest this place!
Overpriced.
Nigiri are good. Ramen not to suggest.
Sapporo is the only beer served. Big list of Japanese whiskeys but again expensive.
We were a group of 13 (7 adults, 6 kids) & the whole experience was absolutely delightful! Jordan was a fantastic server & took care of everyone with such joy. He made the experience as enjoyable as possible. & the food was delicious, from the edamame to the gyoza to the ramen to the large platters of sushi. Highly recommend!
One of our favourites in Tremblant!! We keep coming back 3-4 times a year! The food is delicious, every time we go we try something new & it's always amazing! Even our kids (11-13) love it! From the appetizers to the Gyizas & sushi, & let's not forget the luscious Ramen soup they serve in the wintertime, everything is DE-LISH! & the price is very fair, considering the location!
Only downside, on our two last visits, we were greeted by a very very unfriendly waiter with black glasses. Rude & not welcoming, he really is a clash, misplaced staff member within such a beautiful team & charming location. He was rude on the phone & worse in person. We almost left. It saddens me to remove stars but I think the owners need to acknowledge it as it really affects the whole experience. Coup de coeur for the French waitress, a real Gem! (Both were working on March 20th at night).
Good service but unfortunately the ramen came luke warm & sushi rice was stale & hard. Quite pricey for poor quality in food
This is a smaller restaurant in the resort that serves Japanese cuisine. They were willing to accommodate my large group of 14 which was super nice of them. The food however was ok. The portions were kind of small imo & overall food quality & taste was also ok. The ramen was great for after ski. The rice for my salmon roll was pretty dry & the curry order didn't come with rice at all just a small plate of curry which didn't really feel like a main dish. The other more special rolls were pretty good so were there other apps like the takoyaki & gyoza. Overall not bad but i'll take a peek at other restaurants on the resort before opting for this one.
So far my best experience in the village! We got the ramen & so gooood!
For a japanese resto, ambiance doesn't even sound like a pub in Japan. "Special" ramen doesn't taste special as it sound. The noodles are from an instant noodles. Service is good though.
Too bad the ramen was only available during winter. But nonetheless, the ambiance & food were good. I love the tempura plate. I am sure the other food on the menu were great too.
Had a good experience with my wife. She ordered gin drink (recommended by the waiter), it was refreshing. We started with the tempura & our main ramen & a Maki roll. The tempura was fresh & very crispy, ramen was decent, the Maki roll ain't the best. But overall we had a great time.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at this place, & the experience was truly exceptional. The ambiance was inviting, the service impeccable, & the food exceeded all expectations. From fresh sushi to flavorful ramen, each dish showcased the skill & dedication of the chefs. I left with a satisfied palate & a newfound appreciation for Japanese cuisine. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking an authentic & delightful dining experience.
