Review Summary

Wok Cafe consistently provides fresh and tasty Chinese cuisine, with many diners highlighting the general tao, wonton soup, and lemon chicken as standout dishes. While service is generally described as friendly, quick, and welcoming, recent experiences reflect some inconsistency in food quality and customer interactions. Portions are typically generous for the price, making it a popular neighborhood staple, although some visitors note that the interior can feel uncomfortably cold during winter months and suggest opting for à la carte orders over family meals.

Came in to get 3 large soups, 35$ later we got broth with barely any sustenance(protein veg anything)

Got a large chicken Tom yum without any pieces of chicken & a single shrimp in the entire thing nothing else in it but green onion.

Flavour good quantity & mix terrible.

Wok Cafe came through! Originally headed to Pho Binh but they were closed, so tried this spot. Wonton soup was delicious! Lemon chicken & sesame beef hit the spot. Of course they fill you up with a side of rice & veggies. Beats Maison Kam (West Island's other Chinese spot I've tried) hands down!

Great Chinese food! The wonton soup was delicious with a rich broth, & the portions were generous. Fast service & friendly staff make it perfect for a quick, flavourful meal. Highly recommend!

Spoiler alert we didn't keep the leftovers. The bad reviews are accurate. I have been wanting to try this place for a few years & we did tonight. Lots of choices , decent prices, but generally bland. I may give it a try again in a few years, lol. I really wanted this to be good, every so often I need a fix of American Chinese Food. Online ordering process was smooth & easy, order was ready when it was supposed to be & staff courteous. We ordered General Tao & shrimp fried rice & some pork egg rolls. Good portion size for the price, but food was ok at best, it really lacked flavour. The fried rice was not really fried more just darker rice (not brown, just a little soya tossed into steamed rice). The won ton soup was flavourless, egg rolls were like the kind you buy at your grocery store's freezer section. The vegetables with the general Tao meal were actually tasty & good.

Food was great & the service was amazing. Friendly staffs. We went close to closing, so the service was very fast & the ambience was very nice. We had the siumai, hargao, & miso soup & everything was good. Would definitely recommend the dimsums.

Hot & sour soup was neither "hot" nor "sour". No shiitake mushrooms in soup either! It was like a tofu soup. Food is mediocre.
