Reviews describe Wild Willy's as a busy yet beloved ice cream spot with a huge variety of flavors and popular sundaes, and the banana split is frequently highlighted along with vegan options. The shop attracts crowds, especially in the summer, but lines move quickly and the staff are often praised for friendliness and efficiency. The ice cream is widely regarded as excellent with many praising rich textures, creative flavors, and items like cakes and dog treats that can be ordered in advance. A few notes appear about occasional order mix ups, confusing lineups, and long wait times, and some locations have limited bathrooms. The atmosphere is described as welcoming and family friendly, with good service and a lively, local vibe. While most reviews sing the praises, there are hints of variability in portions and flavor texture on rare visits, but overall Wild Willy's stands out as a top pick in the area.

Hello Wild Willy Owner, I have constructive criticism for your business! You are a very popular ice cream shop in Montreal, & it makes sense, your ice cream is great! I am a long time loyal client of yours that comes weekly. I collect the stamp cards. Usually when I give the full stamp card, I get my ice cream cone with the waffle cone & the flavour I want - no issues. However, last night, I gave my stamp card to the cashier & ordered a small frozen yogourt in a cup. I wanted chocolate on top. Because of this she charged me a 3$ difference(I've never been charged a difference before): I find this a weird business practice but okay fine(you should allow the customer to have something the same price as they usually spend). She hands me my fro yo, & it has a tiny amount of chocolate on it(everytime I order this, this issue has never happened), the ice cream wasn't fully covered in chocolate. I asked her to add more, & she replies saying: ill need to charge you again. I couldn't believe she said that to me after I just paid a difference. I don't feel like a respected & valued customer with that kind of business behaviour. As a loyal customer who constantly brings business & tells everyone you have the best ice cream in Canada, its very stingy of you. On average people probably spend about 7.50$/person on your ice cream(my guess), therefore you should also give that amount with the stamp card. It doesn't make sense for people to be spending a lot on your ice cream, & you expect them to get something cheaper with the card that they wouldn't usually get. Might as well increase the amount of stamps, & then give the customer a proper ice cream. Secondly, your lines are poorly managed. People come in through the third line & cut the people in the second line due to the tree being in the way. I really hope you can start to properly value your customers, because some business in Montreal who got very popular & stopped keeping their quality before hand, they are losing massive amounts of loyal customers. People speak to each other, bad practices get shared.
This place is great. Some reviews are silly, expecting replacement scoops of ice cream for free. Samples within reason is commonplace at ice cream shops, I thought this was widely known. Don't need to take advantage of the samples here though because anything I've tried is great. Every time I've been is very busy, because it's good. Even though busy the customer service was good. Keep it up & ignore the Negative Nancy's. Get a cone & walk by the water before summer is gone!
The Wild Willy's truck made our late night snacks at our wedding a huge success! We have been fans of the scoop shop for years & were pinching ourselves to have our own private service. Thank you to Cloé & team for making our dreams come true.

Phenomenal ice cream, great prices. Right by the bay that makes it a perfect date spot. The shop itself it pretty small, but a must stop if you're in the area.
