I recently visited Westwood Bar & Grill, Laval & while the ambiance was impressive, the overall experience left me conflicted. The decor is stylish & modern, with a warm, welcoming vibe that's perfect for a night out. The music was fantastic, providing a great soundtrack for the evening without being overwhelming-definitely a highlight of the visit. However, when it comes to the food, it didn't quite live up to expectations. For the high prices, I was hoping for a more memorable dining experience, but the dishes were just okay. Nothing particularly bad, but nothing outstanding either. I always enjoy a starter of calamar but these although small & tender were so so greasy ! My husband had a 12oz streak which was chewy & hard to enjoy, the side order of mushroom was nothing special but my grill salmon was a good choice ! In short, it's a great place to enjoy a drink or a date night with an amazing atmosphere & music, but if you're expecting the food to match the price tag, you might be a little disappointed.View more

The place & Ambiance were beautiful! The music was great too The waitress was friendly & polite & the food looked beautiful... but didn't taste that great for what it costs at all.. the seafood Mac & cheese wasn't creamy, & lacked the most important... the seafood... the steak wasn't very tender the peppercorn gravy tasted like chemicals.. you had to order sides separately... fries were 8.00 & they weren't that great. The calamari was good but too salty & you leave with a ginormous bill.. not to mention before you are finished eating they are ripping the plates off the table... not impressed at all.View more
