I went to Westwood on a Wednesday, & it was a good experience. The place looks really nice, with a cool vibe & a great atmosphere. The food was good not amazing, but still pretty decent. What really stood out for me was the service. Our server, Anakin, she was awesome, friendly & attentive. The cocktails were definitely the highlight for me. They were really good! I'd say it's worth checking out for the drinks, the vibe, & the great service, even if the food didn't totally blow me away.View more

I recently visited Westwood Bar & Grill, Laval & while the ambiance was impressive, the overall experience left me conflicted. The decor is stylish & modern, with a warm, welcoming vibe that's perfect for a night out. The music was fantastic, providing a great soundtrack for the evening without being overwhelming-definitely a highlight of the visit. However, when it comes to the food, it didn't quite live up to expectations. For the high prices, I was hoping for a more memorable dining experience, but the dishes were just okay. Nothing particularly bad, but nothing outstanding either. I always enjoy a starter of calamar but these although small & tender were so so greasy ! My husband had a 12oz streak which was chewy & hard to enjoy, the side order of mushroom was nothing special but my grill salmon was a good choice ! In short, it's a great place to enjoy a drink or a date night with an amazing atmosphere & music, but if you're expecting the food to match the price tag, you might be a little disappointed.View more

I went there with a group of 12 girls for a bacheloret party. The service was impeccable. Thomas the manager made sure we were comfortably seated. We had a more private section in the back which we liked. Laura our waitress was very sweet. The place is beautiful. We loved the vibe, the Dj was playing a lot of old school hip hop from the 90's (can't go wrong with that) & reaggaton although we'd appreciate other genre throughout the night.. So the vibe is really nice the dj is VERY VERY COOL & HAVE GOOOOOD MUSIC .... BUT the food wasn't too good. Btw la moitier du menu n'était pas disponible & le saumon manquait de goût . Pas de tartare de saumon .. le tartare de boeuf manquait gravement de goût aussi . Les frites sont bonne les cocktails sont passable . The restaurant was beautiful & had a nice summer vibe to it, which is awesome considering the cold December weather. Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection. My taste buds we're in heaven. This restaurant had us wondering why we haven't been to California.
Although we waited long before getting a waiter after we sat at our table, our waitress definitely made up for it, she was great. Can't wait to go back.
