Decided to stop in for a slice while I was strolling down Wellington street in Verdun. I was looking for a sandwich shop or blackstrap bbq but couldn't find either so I decided to go inside Welldun pizza to sample a slice & I am glad I did: The pizza was awesome! Fresh ingredients, chunky pizza sauce & crispy'welldun' dough. I had a slice of the Margherita & a slice of the Sicilian style pepperoni (a corner of course!).
Atmosphere was cool, it reminded me of an old school pizzeria & I loved the counter seating in the back of the restaurant. The Service was very friendly & welcoming. I watched the owner carefully making one delicious pizza after another while talking with some regular customers. Loved the ambiance & will definitely be making a return trip very soon! As I was leaving I saw a beautiful pie coming out of the oven, the carnivore, with heaping servings of various meats. I wanted to sit back down & have another slice but decided to save it for the next time ; ...
It turns out Welldun Pizza is in the same spot as the old Blackstrap BBQ. A second life for a great location! Highly recommended for a quick delicious pizzaVoir plus

I would give this place 10 stars if I could!!! I tried it today for the first time after being highly disappointed with pizza in Montreal especially after trying pizza in New Jersey, this place restored my faith lol the pizza was PERFECTION!! I had the carnivore Sicilian style the sauce was DELICIOUS the crust was airy & fluffy on the inside & crispy on the outside & they were not stingy on the toppings! Best pizza I have had in Montreal BY FAR!!! The service was quick even though it was a super busy day & the cashier was so friendly & welcoming. We will 100% be returning & recommending this place to anyone looking for the best slice in town!Voir plus
The Detroit style pepperoni, incredible!!!! 11/10! Also tried the NY white & a margarita, the tomato sauce is delicious. Service is a little chaotic but it's understandable for the type of traffic this restaurant gets so be patience it's so worth it!Voir plus

Ny Style cheese Pizza, the crust is delicious the cheese is fine but the tomato sauce is really not good . This Pizza could be an easy 8.1 could also be the best Pizza in Montréal if they change the tomato sauce which is really really not good !! For now it's a 7.2 because the crust is so good !!Voir plus

Okay no joke we have ordered from welldun every week for the passed 3 weeks with different friend groups & theyre very consistent! We just had their mushroom pizza for the first time & for all the mushroom pizza lovers out there it is a must. They surely do not skimp on the mushroom & it is flavourful. There is a pattern of quality in their ingredients & craft here I must say. One of the best new york pepperoni pizzas I have had in my life. Their pesto grandma style is very delicious! Also my present favorite pesto pizza in montreal. Their detroit pizzas are nice too They know how to make not just good, but great pizza here, all the way down to their crust, dough overall & their tomato sauce is yummy!Voir plus

I've never been this impressed with a Pizzeria in Montreal! Truly a revelation in a sea of mediocrity. The sauce in the pizzas (whether red or vodka) was flavorful, incredible undercarriage on all 4 styles (NYC, Detroit, Sicilian & Grandma style) & the pepperoni is really solid. Incredible, & I have been to Frank Pepe's, Sally's in New Haven, as well as Joes & places on Bleeker street in Manhattan & this is certainly in the convo among best pizzas I have had anywhere. This is what you called a real pizzeria, i tried each style & i can safely say that each style is the best i've ever had in my life!! From the under crust to the dough itself to the sauce, everything is at its peak. If you are looking for an amazing sauce, crunchy real pizza, you better drive up here & try these amazing pizza. Hands down the best pizza I've ever had. A unique spot in that they have 4 styles to choose from (NY, Detroit, Sicilian, & Grandma) & all of them done exceptionally well. Most pizza spots usually just stick with one style, or two. My favourites were the Sicilian pepperoni & Detroit vodka sauce with pesto. I would recommend dining-in so you can get the slices freshly re-heated out of the oven.Voir plus

I tried the pizza here for the second time. The first time, I had their thick crust, but I wasn't a fan as it felt like there was too much bread. However, I recently tried their thin crust margarita pizza, & it was fantastic. The sauce was excellent, & the amount of cheese was just right. I'll definitely be coming back for more. On a beautiful stroll on Wellington, we passed Welldun, a place I wanted to try so badly. We had not had lunch but being close to dinner, we opted to order one New York style slice & asked them to cut it in two. They were so kind to do so, service with a big smile, & the pizza.....delish!! the sauce was amazing as was the crust & cheeses. Don't walk, run to this place! Pic is of the half slice. Notre pizzeria préférée étant fermé aujourd'hui, quelqu'un a proposé de commander chez welldun, WOW WOW WOW, quelle délicieuse pizza!!! Peut-être la meilleure pizza que j'ai jamais mangé! nous avons commandé des detroit pizza style la carnivore & la vodka bacon, quel regal!!! La croute est démente! La sauce, le pepperoni, les saucisses tout est excellent!!! Je recommande & serait prêt à rembourser quelqu'un qui n'aime pas cette pizza 😜Dommage pour notre pizzeria préférée! HahahaVoir plus

"Pizza Perfection Delivered." I ordered the Vodka sauce pizza. The pizza has fresh ingredients, incredible crust, a mouthwatering sauce, & the cheese is the star of the show along with superb toppings. The sauce doesn't overpower the cheese & vice versa, the crust-to-sauce ratio is even, & the choice of toppings work like a dream together. My conclusion simply "Outstanding" pizza.Voir plus

Went there with a friend & their kid & we a good time. The pizza is tasty & personally with one slice I was full! It's super crispy & fresh. Theres a lot of vegetarian option too & really what made it so good is the sauce 🍅. Theres also morreti beer on tap, so thats a plus & you can also dine in :)Voir plus
