As fans of Vivaldi's on Instagram & YouTube, my wife & I were really looking forward to finally visiting - & it definitely lived up to the hype. We came all the way from Quebec City & had a great evening.
The service was excellent from start to finish. Our waiter, David, was attentive & nice. We also had the pleasure of meeting Steve, the owner, which made the night feel even more personal & welcoming.
As for the food - we loved it. I had the pizza, which was piping hot, fresh, & full of flavour. My wife had pasta & was equally impressed. Everything came out quickly & was clearly made with care.
That said, there were just a couple of small things that stood out. The squid appetizer was very good but the onions were cut way too large. & the Caesar salad could've used a bit more dressing. It was still tasty, but felt a bit on the dry side.
Aside from those two minor things, the whole experience was really solid. Great ambiance, great food, big portions & genuine people behind it all. We'd definitely come back next time we're in town!Voir plus
As we entered we were immediately greeted by some of the kindest staff I have ever encountered. Fluent English was a big help since my French is poor
Food was great, pizza was hot & fresh, generous amount of high quality toppings, flavourful sauce. Crispy but tender crust. Special shout-out to Steve on the home made sausage.
Caesar salad was so crisp & fresh, could taste the anchovies in the sauce, that or the most flavourful capers I have ever tasted lol. The small was more than enough to go with my pizza as I needed a to-go box to finish the pizza later on at home.
I had originally wanted to go there from seeing the YouTube videos. We actually changed the trip around last minute so we'd be able to make it for dinner without rushing the last day, you folks got busy very quickly once we were done our meal so I didn't get the chance to meet Steve. But, We will be back

My husband & I paid a visit to this restaurant last night.
First things first, the service is IMPECCABLE.
We reserved for 19:00, & the moment we sat down, our server almost immediately served us water & gave us a menu. A few minutes passed, then our server came again to check on us & asked us if we were ready to order, or if we needed more time (& we did need more time 😅), so he came back again to take our order (unfortunately, I don't remember our server's name, but he was efficient & knew how to do his job quite well!).
Unto the main dishes, we ordered Grilled Tunisian Octopus, & it was DELICIOUS!!! 🤤 The octopus was grilled to PERFECTION 👌 We also ordered The Fried Zucchini & Calamari combo. This appetizer was my husband's FAVORITE!!! 😁 Who knew fried zucchini would be so much better than fries!!! 🤩 The batter was not overwhelming. It was just the right amount for it to be crispy on the outside, yet still hold its form on the inside.
Shortly after our appetizer, our main dishes arrived! I got the Linguine Amalfitana (which is seafood pasta). The sauce was light & the linguine was al dente! The seafood consists of shrimps, scallops, mussels, & calamari. The scallops & calamari were cooked to perfection 👌 The shrimps were juicy 🤤 The mussels were fresh & yummy; our server even brought me a carving fork & a separate bowl for the mussels ☺? My husband chose the Tortellini Rosé & boy oh boy did he LOVE IT! It was nice & creamy, yet not overbearing. Also, we loved the flavor of the stuffed meat! We also got the Figlia Pizza on the side. The variety & the textures of the vegetables pair well with the cheese & dough.
Last but not least, DESSERT! I chose the Strawberry Almond Cheesecake, & my husband chose the Vanilla Crème Brûlé. These options were recommended by our server, & he definitely knew what he was talking about! 😄 The custard in the crème brûlé was light & not too sweet! My cheesecake was tasty, too! The strawberry syrup complimented the cheesecake so well, & the whipped cream they served with it was light & airy . It was a great way to end an awesome first visit at Vivaldi!
We 💯% recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic Italian Restaurant on the West Island! What a GEM!!! 💎Voir plus
I was expecting so much more based on the prices & the look of the restaurant! We had a pizza & gnocchi… let's just say I've had better frozen pizzas it's very hard to believe they were freshly made in their ovens. The gnocchi was nothing to write home about either. Cannot complain about the service though, the waiter was very pleasant.Voir plus
Had an excellent evening here. The food was delicious & the staff is very friendly & attentive. The Veal Scallopini Marsala was spot on, the Padrino pizza was equally good. We will definitely come back to try more items. Highly recommended!Voir plus
Good place to meet up with friends & eat a very generous portioned meal. Everything that I have had on menu is good: pasta, steak & pizza. Only thing is that if you sit near a group it gets very loud & you can hardly hear the people you are seated with.Voir plus
We went there my son & I last night for dinner around 8:30 & showed up 15 minutes late but there was no issue they gave us a table right away now the table we got was against the small separating wall in the corner so between the front window & their kitchen & we were against the small wall in the corner so like literally in the corner so as far as seating it wasn't that great but everything else was good. We were served by Jesse & found him serviceable & polite. He remembered to bring everything we asked for & more. They are lucky to have him working there, oh & Jesse also bragged about their head chef on how he was a "real superstar" who is one of the reasons we went there to begin with. My son saw cooking videos of the chef on TikTok & said "he really looks like a chef, the kind you'd see in a movie" & he claimed the cooking skills he filmed on TT were impressive. So we went to try it & it was really good we had the pizza with Italian sausage & pepperoni & it was a 12-in I believe it was way too much for me but it was delicious we just couldn't stop eating it was like a drug it was so good honestly worth going so you're not sure where to go tonight take a drive there on Gouin Blvd in Pierrefonds I will leave the address at the end but take the time You're not sure where to go you want a pizza you want pasta you want a steak you want some chicken you want some veal you want some amazing appetizers we had the calamari & it was the best we've had & I'm not just saying that I'm honest on my reviews seeing Im a local guide level 7 with almost 1 million views of my comments & I will always speak accurately, this place is highly rated & there's a reason for it if you have a chance go look at the videos on TikTok just put Vivaldi & you'll see the chef doing his thing & whatever you do try is hot jardiniere if you're a spicy food amateur will love it anyways the food was super fresh the service was super good Jesse was amazing, the place it was very busy with people everywhere & it was very good, I highly recommend it & don't forget to leave a review be honest I left a couple of pictures so you can look at their pizza & the calamari & like I said it's worth it to try it. So don't wait get up get out ask your mother your sister your brother your father your neighbor your co-worker the stranger on the street to go out & eat & try this place out you will love it so don't hesitate don't procrastinate Go try this & if you happen to be in Jesse's section you're going to find the service amazing as well as the food so there's no reason for you not to get up & go try it, here's the address, go tonight!! 13085 Blvd. Gouin O., PierrefondsVoir plus
Last night, we had the pleasure of dining here, & it was an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm & inviting, setting the stage for a memorable evening. We started with a selection of appetizers that truly set the tone for the meal. The octopus was simply amazing, perfectly cooked & seasoned. The Caesar salad was fresh & crisp, & the Napoletana pizza was a delightful blend of flavors, with a perfect crust & rich toppings. For our main courses, we indulged in a variety of dishes. The seafood pasta was a standout, with a generous mix of fresh seafood & a flavorful sauce. The tortellini with vegetables was equally impressive, offering a hearty & satisfying option. The veal with pasta was tender & delicious, complementing the other dishes beautifully. To finish off our meal, we enjoyed the crème brûlée & tiramisu. Both desserts were exceptional, providing a sweet & satisfying end to our dining experience. Overall, our evening was very enjoyable. The food was consistently great, & the service was attentive & friendly. We will definitely be returning soon for more!Voir plus
Delicious spicy pasta & pizza. Excellent service. Would highly recommend!Voir plus
Ok. So I reviewed the reviews of this restaurant & immediately got the feeling that this is a version of the famous sources boulevard Italian eateries called Del Friscos. I happen to generally enjoy Del Friscos so I thought I would try Vivaldis. So here is the review. Interior. Basic & lacking sound absorption so it's quite a noisy place - but so is Del Friscos for the same reason. Value. Portion is reasonable as is the freshness of ingredients. In terms of what you're going to eat as a dish on the whole this is a little different. We had a house salad, cheese pizza, & chicken Parmesan with tomato sauce & noodles as its accompaniment. The pizza sauce lacked zest & it tasted on the bland side. The dough was fine in flavour & texture but was a very floppy crust line a dominos or pizza pizza crust & you can only eat this by folding the slice it using a knife & fork. Salad was a good portion with nice ingredients though appears bland as there is no flair to it such as shaved Parmesan or colourful veggies except for a hot pepper. The chicken parm was the weakest dish. The chicken was about 25% while the breading was about 75% & was also cooked too much & tasted somewhat burnt. When you cut into the chicken all the breading fell off indicating poor technique in the breading if the chicken. The size of the thinned out chicken breast was actually not very large are you remove all the breading & as such your made to think you have a large portion with all the cheese covered breaded chicken, where in fact there very little chicken which at near $30 it should have a decent sized piece of chicken. An example of a proper sized chicken breast can easily be seen at Del Friscos where it's always juicy (here it was thin & consequently dry), moist, tender, lightly breaded where the breading remains on the chicken when you cut into it. Additionally there is not sufficient sauce which is one of the cheapest ingredients & should not be skimped on. As with the pasta it was really nothing special. A small portion of noodles & then a lack lustre tomato sauce. I like more sauce to my pasta as it's what it's all about, unless you have fresh pasta. & as such asked for extra sauce. There was no extra sauce & the noodles were lightly touched with the sauce. Now some people believe that this is the way to eat their noodles however I am not of the same kind. So if you enjoy little sauce with your pasta the. You are just fine. The slightly warmed buns we fine & had a lovely aroma, however, the type of bread they use makes it not as soft & a harder chewy crusty that's even a slight challenge to test it apart in two. Not that the issue is strength to split, the point is to have a light airy almost pollowy roll. Bring your own wine is nice. Service was adequate as well. The audience appears to be a majority of 55 years & older so perhaps this is like a Miami early bird crowd. Not a date night place.Voir plus
Incredibly mid, maybe because we got takeout but bolognese tastes like its out if a jar. Penne romanoff is like 50% cream, not cooked down either you can clearly taste it. Pizza was very greasy. Roasted vegetables were half raw. Very underwhelming despite some of these other reviews. They also only began cooking the food once we got there & paid, so whats the point of ordering ahead...Voir plus
Food was ok, not great. My & my friend's pizzas were very soggy in the middle, & the crust was thick & hard. Server was very friendly. You're better off going to Scarolie's instead, more worth it.Voir plus
I love this hidden Gem! The chicken parmigiana was the best I ever had. I changed my pasta for some tortellini rosée & we shared a pizza ( bacon onions for me ) everything was amazing. Good service, nice ambiance & you can bring your own wine/beer. Will be back!Voir plus
The taste of the pizza was good, but for two reasons I gave it 3 star: 1) There was no cardboard under the pizza, & this caused the pizza box to be heavily smeared with oil & completely soft, & it did not look good. 2) The pizza was not cut at all!Voir plus
We were advised when we made our reservations for 7 ppl that we should get there by 5:30 rather than 6. They didn't want us to be rushed. It was a Friday night & they had many reservations. So arrived at 5:30. The server only took our order at 5:55. The food was brought just after 6:30. Finally paid the bill around 7:15. That being said we each enjoyed what we ordered from pizza to fish & chips to salmon to veal scallopini pizzaola. Unfortunately the noise level was almost unbearably loud. & I don't eat out very often so I was stunned by the prices. $24 for fish & chips? So the food was very good but with tax & tip my meal was $37. A lot in my opinion for three slices of veal scallopini & spaghetti. But like I said I almost never eat out/order in. Due to that, the noise & how long it took to get our food I won't be returning anytime soon. But may just order a takeout pizza!Voir plus
Le souper était excellent, penne Romanoff, calmars, pizza & moules le tout était très bon. Service rapide & efficace malgré le groupe de 13 que nous étions.Voir plus
Awesome food. Everything we ordered was delicious, appetizers, salad, pasta, pizza. Fresh & generous portions. Our waiter was a little slow & inattentive but it was very busy. I appreciated seeing a diligent kitchen manager making sure all the food was moving smoothly, & I'm pretty sure the owner or manager was there taking care of all the small details. A very well run restaurant!Voir plus
We have dined at Vivaldi Pierrefonds every 2 weeks or so for the past year. We find the food is exceptional. It is a bring your own wine restaurant. I love their Vivaldi subs with Italian Sausage while my wife loves their pizza's. We have also had their penne romanoff which is also great. To top it all off, the service is outstanding. Every one of the waiters or waitresses have done an outstanding job while we were there. The owners are always present so things always run efficiently. Just a great restaurant.Voir plus
This place is spacious & the tables are not too close to each other. The food is amazing. The linguine tetrazini is very rich & cheesy. It is also a large portion & very filling, which leaves enough for another meal. The fettuccine con pollo & crema had a nice aroma to it. The grilled atlantic salmon was juicy & flavorful. The pizza is delicious. The bread is hydrated, & the cheese paired with the pepperoni effectively appeals to the taste buds. The pizza's scent makes your mouth water.
I find these reviews sometimes lack the review on the food itself, what food was ordered & how was the food let's say from 1 to 5...i say this because it would be great to know if the food item i'm ordering was rated good or not by the general public
Hence, i gathered some data that i would like to share with you for this restaurant, maybe it'll help, maybe it won't, because taste is subjective, doesn't mean that some one found something too salty that the other didn't because their taste buds are different, regardless this is tasting data from my group of friends
(other than the food, the restaurant was awesome, atmosphere, staff, efficiency, flexibleness, etc... this 5 star rating is not based solely on the food)
