wine(151) dishes(80) vin(62) scallop(57) dessert(55) canada(50) recommend(37) sandwich(34) petoncle(32) pairing(31) croque(29) sauce(29)I read this five for everything because the environment was so chill, but the food was amazing & heartfelt. I really like the service & there was never an empty glass of water or from my parents why our server was super nice & helped us pick a drink for every single course & describe it so well in English I actually got you in American even though she was French. It was a really nice restaurant & they had at least one dish for every kind of person & that's why I really loved this restaurant. Also, the chocolate ice cream sandwich was so good
Best food, wine, service, & atmosphere of any dinner we've had in our lives. Merci
Overall, I recommend this place if you're looking for a pleasant atmosphere & don't have high expectations for the food or the staff's attention. A solid B+!
Mon Lapin was the highlight of our trip! Fiona gave us the best service we've ever experienced. She was so warm, kind, & welcoming to our child, which made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived.
Her wine pairings were absolutely outstanding & perfectly complemented every dish. The food was exceptional, the atmosphere was beautiful, & every detail made for such a memorable evening.
This was easily one of the best dining experiences we've ever had, & it truly made our trip. We can't wait to come back!
I was so excited to try Mon Lapin, unfortunately it didn't live up to the hype for me. The service was outstanding, the wine was fantastic, the food fell short for the hype. Also it's a very packed restaurant & unfortunately we were sat twice next to people wearing strong perfume/ cologne & it ruined our experience. Not the fault of Mon Lapin, but be ready to be sitting very close to your neighbours.
Overrated. No idea how this got to be the number 2 restaurant in Canada. Food was either bland or weird. Had the leeks & the scallop toast. The scallop toast was this off texture similar to a marshmallow. Leeks tasted like nothing. & the dessert, the buckwheat cake, was perhaps the oddest & most unpleasant dessert I have had in awhile. The duck & pork were nice
Phenomenal meal & service. Hard to score a reservation, but if you show up right around when they open, & it's a nice day, they keep the patio open for walk-ins. We're pescatarian & they were super accommodating, we let our server pick our wine selection as well & her choices were great.
Was by far the most hyped restaurant I encountered when planning for my recent Montreal trip. You see all the accolades online. #2 on North American 2025 top restaurants?
Previous #1 on Canada top 100? I didn't know what to expect walking in. You literally have your pick from all the great restaurants in the city of Montreal. Joe beef, L'Express. You name it.
But- This place more than lived up to the hype, it absolutely exceeded it. Chef Laurent Dagenais made a video of where chefs eat in Montreal, & this place was his TOP pick. ABSOLUTELY ON POINT.
The creativity of the food was incredible. The service was impeccable. Background music set the perfect vibe. We had such great recommendations on wine pairings. I cannot wait to eat here again! potato chip + leek + smoked mussel mayo = perfection. Croque with scallops- amazing. Sourdough chicken was probably (outside of the lobster spaghetti from Joe Beef) the top dish of our entire trip in Montreal.
Be sure to snag the online reservations early because they go QUICK.
Oui oui! Bon appetit baby.
