Un des meilleurs resto sur Wellington & assurément le meilleur restaurant péruvien que je connaisse. Bon rapport qualité/prix (ce sont de bonnes portions!!)
Ambiance décontractée, excellent service & superbes terrasses!View more
Saveurs authentique du Pérou, côté nourriture, excellent qualité prix.View more
Best Peruvian I have had outside of Peru. Anticuchos are amazing.View more
Very pleasantly surprised to see the large portions back - we over-ordered because we remembered the last visit the portions were suddenly very small. Thank you for bringing back Wellington Villa from before the pandemic.View more
The portion size for most dishes at our table was great. I ordered ceviche unfortunately though & was told it would be 220 grams, I love ceviche & have eaten it a lot & they served me 100 grams max for $28 which I thought was unreasonable.View more
Grilled fish was delicious! Excellent service, & our server explained items from the menu that we were not sure about.View more
The servers & personnel are very friendly & helpful & since the restaurant has a patio, we enjoyed the music & people dancing across the street.
The food is prepared in a traditional way, with few condiments & a good portion size. I had the ceviche & the grilled octopus, they were good but not great. I will give it a 3.5 rating in the seafood but it is not an option. I'll come back & try beef or chicken dishes.View more
The staff is nice, the food is exquisite & affordable. Great experience!View more
I've had my fair share of letdowns when it comes to Peruvian food in Montreal, especially those places on Saint-Hubert Av. But Villa Wellington in Verdun is one exception you won't want to miss.
Let's cut to the chase: Lomo Saltado here is pretty darn decent. The beef is flavorful & comes with a generous portion of crispy fries & rice-just like back home.
The Seco con Frejoles & Choritos a la Chalaca are also solid choices, each with a comforting, home-style vibe that's hard to find in this city.
Prices? Totally fair, especially considering the generous portions. You'll leave full & happy without feeling like you've overpaid.
The vibe is cozy & unpretentious-definitely a family-run spot that feels authentic. Service is friendly, even when the place gets busy (& it does-so book ahead!).
I'll definitely be back for another round of Lomo Saltado-& maybe next time, I'll finally try the Piqueo Wellington sampler!
Not perfect, but for Montreal, this is as close as it gets for Peruvian comfort food. It's worth it!View more
The food was excellent as always, the server however came to our table about six times to see if we were ok, & we weren't even there 1 hour, it was very apparent that they wanted us to eat & leave fast. Usually it is not like that but possibly they were overbooked, we didn't enjoy our suppeView more
Good food
Great taste, good portions, the pulpo a la Oliva was great, & the lomo saltado. We also ordered calamari entrée & was very good!View more
We decided to visit this restaurant to celebrate Mother's Day, & it turned out to be an excellent choice. The dishes served were absolutely delicious, offering a genuine & authentic Peruvian cuisine that really impressed us.
We genuinely look forward to returning in the future & enjoying another wonderful meal. Without a doubt, we highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic & satisfying Peruvian cuisine!View more
My favorite Peruvian food since my first time in 1998. Ceviche is sublimeView more
Great food, sometimes slow & cramped would recommend honestly, don't recommend their Pisco sour if your use to traditional thoughView more
The food here was absolutely great! We had the piqueo wellington, & it was the perfect way to sample a little bit of some important dishes from the menu!! highly recommended if it's your first time. Their ceviche was amazing, super fresh & full of flavor! For dessert, we had the suspiro limeno, which was such a treat. It's the first time I've seen a Peruvian restaurant actually offer it, & they had it available. Loved the whole experience!View more
