Beautiful place for dinner. The food & service were excellent. We had a quiet spot at the back, which was perfect for us.

This Steak house is in a beautiful location & the ambiance & decor of the restaurant was beautiful. The price point was very fair. However the location where we were seated on the 2nd floor next to the waiters prep station would really benefit from a wall & not just a metal curtain. The clang of the cups & chatter of the staff take away from the dining experience. The food was good However there were a few items that were warm not hot. But the staff replaced the food without a question. All & all it was a 4 star experience.

Very solid steakhouse, Montreal has a slew of steakhouses in the city, this restaurant stands out for it's beautiful interior & attentive service. My food was quite good, oysters with a 10 oz steak.

The restaurant is located at the heart of the old port. That justifies the high number of reviews.
For appetizer, we ordered escargot which was excellent (not as good as Modavie, but still it was great).
The entree was'okayish to good' in my opinion. We had bone-in ribeye steak which was not well-cooked (restaurants like Joey provide a much higher quality for the same price).
& finally we ordered crème brûlée for dessert which was too sweet (for example, compared to the Modavie's, the quality of crème brûlée was way lower here…).
The service was nice & professional, but it didn't really felt personal. I had higher expectations from this place.
The atmosphere was beautiful, but I wish the tables were not super close to each other. It felt a bit uncomfortable that we could hear all the conversations happening in our adjacent tables (& probably vice versa).

Beautiful terrace, I recommend the salad with lobster 🦞, it's very taste & the portion is enough for lunch .

Exceeded expectations. Amazing meal, atmosphere & service. We were fortunate to have Philippe as our server, very knowledgeable & helpful. Would come back next time in this beautiful city.

This steakhouse has become one of our go-to spots whenever we're in Montreal. The setting is lovely - the interior decor complements the charm of Old Montreal beautifully, & in the summer, the back patio is especially nice. With soft lighting in the evening, it feels both cozy & welcoming.
The food has always been excellent, from appetizers to dessert. Every dish we've tried has been well-prepared & flavorful. The staff are friendly & attentive, which makes the experience even more enjoyable.
It's a place we keep coming back to - a reliable favorite for a good meal in a relaxed, comfortable setting.

What a beautiful, exceptional experience our group of three had!!! We were visiting from out of province. The service, recommendation, & efforts exceeded our expectation. Steak was tender, sides were fresh.
Highly recommend to locals & travellers a like! Cheers to Kim & Jimmy!!!

We had an incredible dinner at Vieux-Port Steakhouse to celebrate my Fiancé's birthday, & it was perfect from start to finish. The atmosphere is elegant & welcoming, & the service was exceptional; our server was so kind, funny, & really made the evening feel special. They even surprised us with a birthday dessert, which was such a thoughtful touch!
The food was absolutely phenomenal, some of the best we've had in Montreal. Every dish was beautifully prepared & full of flavor. We loved our entire experience & would highly recommend this place for a special night out. Can't wait to go back!

I would highly recommend this restaurant, the lobster is FRESH, the steak was cooked to perfection & our server Jimmy was attentive, witty, & personable. Beautiful atmosphere & delicious food. 10/10.

We had a fantastic time! We came across the restaurant while being true tourists mezmorized by the character & charm of Old Montréal. Inside, we were met immediately with smiling service & seating next to the front window. The atmosphere was casual but beautiful with stunning architecture. Our server Jo was superb, assisting us in wine pairings, ensuring our glasses never emptied, & recommended his favorite dessert. He even indulged our tourist antics & humored us with our excessive appreciation of each bite. The food....incredible! The best prepared steak we have ever had, not an exaggeration! We savored each bite, eating slowly to absorb the flavors & became saddened as we consumed the last bite. Everything about our experience was marvelous, & unlike any restaurant before, in Montréal, at home or other destinations. Thank you Jo & chefs for a memorable evening.

I came here fresh off of a plane the place looked beautiful but what really stood out to me was my server his name was sayed & despite me coming in by myself as I've just landed he genuinely cared so much for me & treated me with the most respect any server has ever given me, the care he gave to me has stuck with me ever since & I truly believe this man deserves not only 5 stars but a billion more, as of now that's all I'm able to give him & this restaurant & I truly hope he's as appreciated by everyone else as he is from me. 100% will be coming back to support not only sayed but all of the servers who also treated me wonderfully & the amazing cooks for the care they put into the night!

Great bar! On a long weekend away, we came here twice for the delicious Paloma with foam. Go to the recently re-done beautiful bar in the back. Sebastian & Kassi are wonderful. Enjoy!

I had an unforgettable dining experience at Vieux Port Steakhouse! The pork chop was absolutely incredible-perfectly cooked & bursting with flavor. The ambience was exquisite, creating a warm & inviting atmosphere. Our waiter, Audrey, was wonderful; her attentiveness & knowledge made the evening even more special. I paired my meal with a fantastic orange wine that added delightful complexity. The side dishes were equally impressive, each complementing the main course beautifully, from creamy mashed potatoes to vibrant seasonal vegetables. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a top-notch meal!

Fantastic good with a variety of choices to be happy. Drinks are delicious from alcoholic choices to nonalcoholic. Service is 5 star level. Stupendous servers. No complaints. The atmosphere is beautiful, & the interior design is outstanding. I'm looking forward to going back to try out other dishes.

Our waiter, Simon was delightful with lots of patience:)). My fiancé spilled his steak sauce, & Simon discreetly cleaned it up for us without anyone noticing. The steak was perfect & the terrace absolutely beautiful.

Beautiful restaurant in the heart of Old Montreal. The food & service was excellent from beginning to end! Our waiter, Syed was very accommodating! Will return next time we are in Montreal.

Beautiful day, beautiful decor, beautiful server, but slow service ruined the afternoon. I had to take it to go & eat in my hotel while I packed to leave the city! Almost 30 minutes for a medium rare steak, my god! & no appetizers, I was starving. Maybe I will give them another chance next year 🤞🏼

It begins with just a beautiful ambience while street side in old Montreal. Then the food arrives & it was extraordinary, even the kids went off their usual menu likes & enjoyed it. The service (Monosh) was very attentive & informative in helping the kids with their choices. Don't hesitate as a nice treat.
