We had mixed feeling about our visit to Vertigo. The food was really good: oysters, beef tartare, beet salad, octopus salad, a nice bottle of red wine, croissant bread pudding. We liked the atmosphere, although the music outside was a bit loud. But the service was disappointing. We were there at happy hour time on a Friday. We sat outside. It took way too long for our waiter to take our order. We even considered leaving. & then there were a series of little mistakes. The person who brought out the food kept bringing the wrong food to the wrong table. My tartare didn't have the spicy mayo sauce it was supposed to come with. We exchanged graces with the couple at the table next to us each time it happened. So good restaurant that I will be happy to return to, but the service needs work.View more
