Even with no reservations, we managed to get a table which we were lucky for bc they said usually you need reservations cause its packed. The food was good & the apple picking was very fun!! Would recommend again
A great place to go apple picking. The grounds are spacious & well maintained. There is also outdoor games for kids & a small farm (it does need a bit of love though, lots of the animals did not look comfortable). If you visit more towards the end of apple picking season, the crowds are more manageable & it's a fun activity with friends & family.
$3 to enter without a bag & $25 for a bag with two entrances. There is also a crepe restaurant (reserve in advance!) & a spot to try out some cider.
You also have a spot to grab some local homemade groceries.
I recommend trying the apple beignets & homemade chips while you are there!
An annual tradition Apple picking - Colors - Apple donuts .
Amazing site
Nice place, but extremely busy. We visited last weekend & it was overwhelming how many people were there. There aren't many spots where you can sit & simply enjoy the surroundings. For me, the biggest issue was that there was no place to wash your hands after apple picking, feeding the animals, or even after using the bathroom. Yes, they have sanitizers, but before eating you really want to wash your hands properly, & that was a problem.
We visited Vergers & Cidrerie Denis Charbonneau in Mont-Saint-Grégoire recently, this place is an impressive farm & orchard-over 35,000 apple trees & more than 15 varieties, plus berries, plums, pears, pumpkins, & more . Depending on the time of season, you can pick strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, prunes, pears, & apples yourself . It's a big, open space with walking trails, a playground & a mini-farm, so kids have plenty to roam around .
There's a tractor-drawn wagon that runs through the orchard folks can hop on & off as needed during the day, which adds a nice touch for getting around without wearing out little feet.
The onsite boutique is open year-round & stocked neatly with apple & berry jams, maple treats, ready-to-eat dishes, pastries, spreads, & more . Inside, shelves are nicely arranged with jars, gift items, pies, preserves, ciders, & souvenirs all feeling cozy & well-organized.
Speaking of ciders, the place has a cidery crafting a wide range of apple based drinks using fruit from the orchard itself. You'll find sparkling apple musts, rosé ciders, traditional dry ciders, ice ciders, plus inventive blends with plums, strawberries, & raspberries . Production is done onsite using a two-fermentation process that gives the drinks a natural sparkle . A visit to the cider house lets you taste & buy right there.
There's also a crêperie at the orchard serving Breton-style crêpes in a rustic setting, so you can grab a simple bite without leaving the property .
In short: this is more than just apple picking. It's a full agrotourism spot combining picking your own fruit, local-grown cider & treats, a cozy boutique, casual eats, a mini-farm, & fun transport for exploring the fields. It's quite a straightforward & genuine experience great for families, couples, or anyone looking for a relaxed day in the countryside.
We have been visiting this place for more than 25 years for their crepes & love it. Our kids used to like feeding the animals & playing. The apple picking in season is great. They also have blueberry & strawberry picking. They keep expanding the store with new products. Definitely worth the trip.
I remember visiting here circa 1996/1997 & there was apple picking with my school st John fisher elementary. We rode horses. One I rode was a fleabitten Grey & the other was a black bay horse. This was so long ago. I'm so happy to have come back
Great products. Bee pollen is good here!
We had a great time apple picking, the hot apple cider donuts are a must have! The orchard was clean & big. Would have loved if they played traditional Quebecois music as opposed to English pop music, but the DJ was very funny & everyone was so chaleureux. We had a great lunch of crèpes & the maple syrup on the tables convinced us to come back during Cabane à Sucre season!
We had a great day here, starting with a crepe lunch, & then an afternoon picking apples. Everyone who worked here was friendly & helpful.
Went there to go apple picking, the place is HUGE!! If.yoirw worried about not getting apples, don't. There is plenty for everyone, even at the end of the season (October) they can accommodate big groups easily & omg the donuts, you can't go there without getting donuts they're to die for!! 🍎🍁
Great place for Apple picking but UNHYGENIC. There was absolutely no wash basin or sink on the premises. Porta pottys are provided at 1 entrance with no toilet paper or water sink/soap. They expect you to feed the animals (food coin dispenser provided), feed yourself (fresh donuts for sale in long queues), & pick fruit & vegetables WITHOUT washing your hands in-between. The 3$ entry fee was not worth it due to the lack of bathrooms or even simple farm sinks on the premise. It was very packed but kids can definitely enjoy themselves with the mini caged farm, 2 large playground sites & extensive farm space to run around. They have a mini cidery & produce apple/pumpkin pies & fresh donuts (not vegan). Unfortunately my family will not be returning as other farms can provide the same fun with more apple trees to pick from as well as provide a bathroom.
Friendly atmosphere & welcoming staff. they have many varieties available for picking. The restaurant & store has several products from the farm. Be sure to try their fried treats & check out the frozen section. Honeycrisp season is September & it's on the list available for pickup.
Best apple picking business out there. Fantastic setup. You will not find a better place. Large orchard with tractor rides in. Terrific restaurant & boutique with great items. Elvis Presley singer is super. Delicious Apple Donuts. My family alway goes here for a good time. 5 Stars!
This farm is an absolute gem! We had the most amazing day filled with fun & adventure for the whole family. The apple picking was such a delightful experience, with trees bursting with delicious, crisp apples-perfect for a fall day out. The kids were over the moon with the amusement park, which had plenty of rides & attractions to keep them entertained for hours. The farm animals were another highlight, especially for the little ones, who loved getting up close & personal with the friendly goats, sheep, & chickens. The staff was incredibly friendly & helpful, & the whole place had a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We can't wait to come back next season!
