Sometimes you find a restaurant that has all the hype & it's hard to meet the expectations, but I must say that this place met all of the hype. The food was really what the reviews built it up to. The owner came out to talk to us & was genuine, the servings are extremely generous, & everything was fresh. This restaurant is not about veganism, it's about an experience into culinary specialty & delicious food. You will leave with a smile, I can tell you that much. Highly recommended, worth the drive, worth the visit, must try it to know…instant favorite, & I'll be going back to try the entire menu.
We had the pleasure of having Veganarie Resto cater our backyard wedding, & everything was absolutely incredible! The food was outstanding-loved by vegans & non-vegans alike. The homemade spanakopita, dolmades, tzatziki, grilled skewers & more were all delicious!

Decided to check this place out because of the good reviews. My partner & I each ordered a gyro & shared a popcorn chicken poutine. Everything & I mean EVERYTHING was incredible. One of the gyros was faux lamb made from shiitaki mushrooms & the other was faux beef made from soy. The owner was very helpful when we were trying to decide what to get, & he even recommended some other vegan restaurants for us to check out. We will absolutely be coming back & trying other types of poutines.
I couldn't get enough of the food. It was all so rich & filling & on top of that, the service was great! Highly recommend for anyone stopping by in Montréal.
Beyond awesome experience. Arie is amazing, gave us phenomenal service. He really knows his stuff, not only with the menu but all the vegan restaurants in the area. Being from Toronto, he shared honest recommendations to the best vegan places around. Everything that we ordered was top notch. Steak & pepperoni sub, the chickn sub, the smash patty & poutine, everything was flavourful. The smash patty was the best vegan patty I've ever had. Would highly recommend, especially if you are looking for a good vegan poutine. This spot is a must! A passionate owner with food made with love & good intentions.
The food was delicious! I am very picky when it comes to feta & tzatziki & was very impressed. I highly recommend this place if you like Greek food. I also encourage non vegans to try it out cause you will be surprised by its authenticity.
Absolutely perfect little unassuming hole-in-the-wall all-vegan eatery with ultra-friendly & accommodating staff. I was in Montréal for only one day for a birthday party & was determined not to leave before finding some vegan poutine. Veganarie's was superb. I got the hot Chicago-style Italian beef variant & was very pleased to find it loaded with hot peppers, just how I'd hoped. The portions were beyond generous & I didn't think I'd be able to finish it all, but it was so good I might have slightly hurt myself finishing it anyway. Highly recommended! I hope I can return to Montréal soon, & when I do, I will absolutely be coming back to try more.
It was my first time at a vegan restaurant & I was a little skeptical about how the food would taste. Everything was absolutely savory & delicious & the presentation was so appetizing. It's a cozy place & very clean. Arie was very helpful in guiding us with our choices & we all had a very enjoyable evening. I would definitely go back & recommend it to family & friends. Nous avons pris un pita kofta & un pita agneau shikaté, accompagnés de patates grecs & c'était vraiment délicieux. La station du Rem est tout près. Les propriétaires sont en plus très sympathiques. Nous recommandons sans hésitation!
