We were so excited to try Veganarie's takeout & it did not disappoint!
The food was hot & looked so good & smelled so nice, that we didn't take any pictures.
We ordered the Pikilia, Gyro Pita, Lamb Pita, Kofta Pita, Chicken Pita, Small Mess Burger, Philly Cheesesteak Sub, & the star was the Smoked Meat Sandwich. Everything was insanely good, & we couldn't believe it was all vegan. After six years of vegan eating, this brought back all the comfort-food memories. A true hidden gem.

As long-time vegans visiting Montreal with my wife & kids, Veganarie completely wowed us. The menu hits all the comfort-food classics we love, from hearty poutines to loaded gyros, & everything tastes fresh, flavorful, & satisfying. The kids couldn't get enough of the vegan burgers, & we loved the creative twists on Greek favourites. Friendly staff, cozy vibe, & a menu that makes vegan eating fun for the whole family. We'll definitely be back next time we're in town!

We went for the first time last weekend. My husband & I were greeted as soon as we walked in. Great service, great attention & food above our expectations! My husband is not a vegan but he loved his gyro pita. We will definitely come back!!!!
We had an incredible meal, dining at Veganarie was like walking into the warmest home! As a Greek vegan, it was so lovely to get to eat the food that I loved growing up, but vegan, & just as tasty! Highly recommend the Kofta Gyro & the'chicken' Gyro, but everything was delicious! Will definitely be back on my next visit to Montreal.
11/10 IT IS A MUST VISIT 😍, I am vegetarian since birth & I must say this man has magic in his hands 🥳. I loved the creating & his amazing knowledge about food industry. I tried greek platter, sub & even vegan shrimps & trust me it's to die for. The texture, taste & everything was beyond delicious 💕. It's not a paid review but out of my heart to support this man & his business. I love supporting & trying authentic food, I tried Greek gyro & it was yumm. Everything was amazing 😌& trust me if you will go there once you can't resist yourself. Visited him twice in 3 days & totally worth it.
The food here is so incredible!! The atmosphere is great, & the owners are super down to earth, friendly, & helpful.
Whether you are vegan, or not, I highly recommend!!! We got: Philly cheesesteak poutine, & Gyro pita plate.
The gyro & the Philly cheesesteak (both 100% vegan) at Veganarie were amazing! I often find Greek potatoes to be undercooked, but these were perfect. The owner, Arie, is so nice & down to earth. I highly recommend you pop in for a great meal. Also, don't skip the baklava. 😉

The food here is phenomenal. I've been vegan for 10 years, & the one thing I've been missing is a quality gyro. The'lamb' gyro exceeded my expectations. It's the only vegan pita I've had, to date, that reminds me of the real thing (& that's saying a lot, considering I've eve had vegan pites in Greece!). The tiropites are also amazing.
We've picked up veganari 5-6 times already since first tyring it ~a month ago.

Absolutely incredible food & service! We got the Cajun Shrimp, Gyro, Philly Cheese Steak, Steak & Pepperoni Sub & Greek Burger. Everything was 10/10, the textures of the meat alternatives are the best I've ever had. Even the non-vegans approved! We will definitely be back :) THANK YOU
By far the best vegan comfort food in Montreal. I've been plant based for over 10 years & I've never had a'lamb' gyro taste so good....& I despise mushrooms (you don't taste it at all).

VEGANARIE is such a gem! Authentic Greek vegan food. The food here are absolutely incredible. I had a Philly Cheesesteak Sub, spanakopita, baklava (Served warm & delicious.) & wifey had the Gyro. This is truly food that you can taste the love it was made with. Every bite was packed with flavour & perfectly cooked.
Definitely a must-visit for anyone seeking a delightful Vegan / plant-based meal in a charming setting! Can't wait to go back again!

Long overdue😘 i wanted to order a lunch for 16 family member. I am the only vegan out of the group but wanted them to try it since they are really good. Starting with Arie & his son who are the most friendliest guys ive come accross. The food lamb/gyro pitas greeknsalad ,potatoes, falafel & shrimp appetizers(fyi shrimp lasted 5 min ) it was absolutely great & everyone loved it .. did i mention im the only vegan.. price was affordable & Arie added some extras, food was more than enough as we all had some leftover for next day. A big thank you & happy 3rd anniversary i wish you many more 👍
OMG you have to try this place if you're in Montreal. I will be making the drive from Ottawa just to have dinner here again so I can try everything! So delicious, flavorful & unique. Can't believe everything is vegan, they have so many options. Reasonable prices & nice big helpings. Try the gyro pita!

The best vegan Mediterranean restaurant I've been to this side of the planet. The Pikilia is a no-brainer for a starter, & the soy gyro was excellently seasoned & prepared. The tzatziki is tofu based & excellent no matter what you're pairing it with. Veganarie is an easy recommendation, even if you have to drive across Montreal.

We were a group of 4 & had such an amazing experience at Veganarie! From the moment we walked in, the vibe was warm & inviting. The service was friendly & attentive, & every dish we tried was packed with flavour & creativity. The Greek-inspired comfort food is next level - we couldn't believe everything was 100% plant-based. Highlights for us were the tzatziki, gyros, poutine, & the decadent brownie. Can't wait to come back & try more of the menu. Highly recommended!
Veganarie Resto totally blew me away! The food was insanely good, super flavorful & satisfying without feeling heavy. I tried the Gyro pita plate & there incredible homemade spanakopita, The vibes were relaxed, the staff were super nice, & everything came out quick & fresh. As a non-vegan I was impressed to finally find a plant based alternative greek food spot. Definitely coming back, one of my new favorite spots!
Very warm & welcoming owner, he had lots of insight to the vegan products available in Canada. The tzatziki was exceptional, so creamy & nut-free. We had the pikillia for two, shiitake lamb gyro & fish & chips. Everything was fresh & tasty, we'll definitely be back.
