Designed by the renowned Speakeasy team, the interior of Vandale Restaurant housed in a historic building, reflects the hip sensibilities of the Old Port and Griffintown. Arranged on several levels, this restaurant allows you to observe the 'Street Art' of a dozen Montreal artists. The spectacle is all at once in the hall, on the walls and in the open kitchen. Découvert grâce à un TikTok, on a voulu essayer. Nous avons pris le menu à 25$ EXCELLENT! Je suis moi-même compliquée au niveau du goût, mais en mariant les saveurs ensemble c'est super bon. Mon coup de coeur est le plat principal ❤️ super bon. Nous vous attendez pas à de grosses portions! Serveurs très polis & expliquent bien le menu.
Nous sommes venus pour le menu à 25$, & franchement, pour le prix, c'était bien bon ! Ça fait plaisir de voir de plus en plus de restaurants à Montréal offrir de la bonne nourriture à des prix plus abordables !

To begin with the ambiance was super cool & well designed. We took the 25$ menu & it did not disappoint! The food was amazing & portions were fair! Our waiter was clearly a great human being! Not only was he nice but kind & welcoming! Our drinks were very well made & the presentation was very unique! I had an amazing time & will definitely go back
The food was amazing, the service was really cordial. This place has a perfect blend of cool yet chill atmosphere. The beef dish we had was spectacular, please keep it in the menu (they rotate menus often). Highly recommended.
Went here for a girls dinner for a 5à7 on a Thursday. Wednesday's & Thursdays from 5PM-8PM they have $1 oysters & drinks have special pricing. The oysters were okay but the rest was phenomenal! We took the table d'hôte $25 & both beef options were to die for! The pasta was also very good. The staff were also very attentive & kind. Honestly for the price - 100% worth it.
La cuisine était vraiment bonne mais les portions beaucoup trop petites. Toutes les convives sont ressortis du restaurant en ayant faim... De plus, nous souhaitions acheter une bouteille de vin & le serveur nous a proposé de goûter le vin avant de confirmer notre choix de bouteille, & une de ses collègues est arrivée en disant que non ce n'était pas possible. Pas top niveau relation client...

What a lovely way to spend an evening! The oysters were fresh & sweet, the carpaccio, fabulous, & the Caesar salad was one of the best ever. After dinner drop into the Speakeasy for a nightcap-the old fashioned was to die for!
Nous avons passé un excellent moment, la nourriture était vraiment bonne, & le service parfait. Le tout dans un cadre très sympathique, je recommande fortement.
Belle place super décor, nourriture bonne mais certain plat petit. Pour les grandes faim je conseille le sandwich de porc tout était bon a sans lécher les doigts.

Great place in Old Port serving excellent food for a resonable price. There are a lot of choices on the menu, with different types of fish, seafood, meats, & veggies, which is suitable for everyone with dietary restrictions. We got the 4 course menu for 53$ & had lots of food. I especially loved the scallops, they were phenomenal with the celeriac purée. Cocktails are a form of art here, thoughfully imagined & created with passion. They are researched & well balanced with unique flavours that work perfectly. A place that is artfully decorated with local artists artwork. Don't forget to visit the Speakeasy downstairs! It's a vibe!
L'expérience & l'ambiance sortent vraiment de l'ordinaire. On entre dans un univers artistique qui va des murs jusqu'aux plats & aux boissons. On se sent à l'aise, bien accueilli & bien servi. Les plats sont magnifiques à regarder & délicieux en bouche. J'ai vraiment beaucoup aimé tout ce qui m'a été servi, tous les ingrédients de chaque plat se marient très bien. Texture, goût, équilibre, tout y est à chaque fois. Les cocktails sont élaborés, goûteux & uniques. Il y a un véritable génie artistique derrière tous les cocktails. Il y en a un pour tous les goûts. Il y a même un speakeasy sur place. L'ambiance est superbe, on pénètre dans un concept de bar caché. On se détend, on passe un bon moment avec le personnel. Vraiment de belles soirées en perspective. Je vous conseille vivement d'y faire un tour.
Merci pour l'accueil personnel superbe, les plats sont toujours de bonne qualité cependant nous avons remarqué que les portions ont beaucoup diminué par rapport a il y a quelques annees, c'est le seul petit point que je donnerai.
Très bonne place, belle ambiance funky. Plats excellents! Les saveurs se distinguent les unes des autres. Savoureux! Le speakeasy du sous-sol (bar clandestin) est excellent, avant ou après le repas, ou juste en soirée, entres amis ou en amoureux.
