Honestly, it was way better than I expected. Thomas was absolutely fantastic, the music was great & not too loud (great cause us gals had a lot to say!) & the food was just DELICIOUS. I'll gladly recommend the place to anyone. I rarely feel this way about restaurants these days & Vandale honestly is worth visiting. Merci encore pour la belle soirée Thomas !

251101 Menu Montreal a table en novembre 2025 exellent, 50 CAD pp pour une cuisine delicieuse pleine de saveurs. Pour 2, Gravlax & aubergine farcie, poitrine de porc & gnocchis, 2 tatakis, & 2 tiramisu pour finir. Portions genereuses, le tout apres un focaccia maison & 2 cocktails Tiki. Le cocktail Spicy naked avec figue pour les amateurs de spicy seulement, vous etes prevenus...! Service impeccable, ambiance deroutante en bien! A recommander absolument pour le bues de novembre. Hidden gem in Montreal! Stopped in for the Atelier Mixology class in the basement of this restaurant (which was equally amazing). Had a drink at the bar before we started - absolutely delicious. The barman was kind, funny, & made the best drinks. These were not just generic beverages but rather artfully crafted, highly complex drinks. After the class, we decided to stay for dinner as it smelled SO good coming back up the stairs. We all opted for the 3 course meal - wow. Every course was more amazing than the last. I can't recommend this place enough! Merci!

La nourriture est vraiment pas cher ce qui est cher c'est les cocktails. Mon repas m'a coûter 20$ & une cocktail m'as aussi coûté 20$.

Great vibes, unique marketing & atmosphere & reasonable happy hour prices. There are $1 oysters Thursday happy hour (only?) & the staff are quick & friendly with the service. The menus are delivered in fun record sleeves & the murals of the space are colorful & pop! The space is not wheelchair accessible, there are a few steps to enter the first door, & heavy second door & stairs required for the bathrooms. There are multiple seat options with different levels of back rests for the bar versus table, & different levels of light & noise depending on where you are in the space. Overall I would recommend for the happy hour special but seemed pretty average for the normal bar/food service.

The food was amazing, the service was really cordial. This place has a perfect blend of cool yet chill atmosphere. The beef dish we had was spectacular, please keep it in the menu (they rotate menus often). Highly recommended.
