The server yelled'behind' at us when bringing our drinks which we had to stop her leaving to ask for. When the food arrived our plates were practically thrown at us & then server then rushed off again. The food was bland for how expensive it was at $20+ for regular meals, my pint was terrible, biggest waste of $75 ever for only 2 mains & one beer, should've gone to the McDonald's
TERRIBLE food & service. French fries seemed old & were extremely greasy. The waitress was rude all along the way & basically forced us to pay extra tips (18%). As a newcomer in Canada, at the time I didn't know they were not mandatory. Even though I tried to refuse to pay the tip, she kept saying that I had to. Also, soft drinks prices are not included in the menu. DON'T GO THERE!
My little boy was craving for chicken nuggets & fries
We stopped & asked a nice lady we ended ordering chicken strips fries apple fries & a drink
With an 18% tip the bill was around 38 or so food is great
The only reason I am writing this review is that I am hoping for a manager or an owner to contact me so I can try to fix some service & manners issues in this place.
So slow. They forgot our order (& ignored us) for 40 minutes. When my drink did come after 50 minutes the server spilled it on me. The Poke bowl was too fishy to eat.
Great spot for a quick bite! The food was really good & quickly served. The staff super friendly & hospitable. The drink that was recommended was amazing! Don't hesitate to stop in when traveling.
Absolutely the worst service I've ever had. The host was nice but that was the apex of my experience. The server came to me ONCE for my drink order & that was the only time she came up to me. I wanted more than one beer & she never came up to me or checked in on me. Be prepared to advocate for your self because everyone in my section had to go up & ask for the bill. Worst service ever & you should definitely move on & not waste your time here. Also be prepared to SMASH the no tip button. Hope you read this & you avoid this crap hop of a restaurant
Service was a bit abrupt for my liking. She seemed polite enough to the other clients, but I felt like she was trying to rush me out. She wasn't specifically rude or anything but I wouldn't say she made any effort. Didn't ask if I wanted a drink (like even coffee). If they have a drink menu, I wasn't offered it. It wasn't busy either. She didn't check up on me or ask how it was. She just left the bill on the table & told me to pay at the counter.
Avocado toast was decent, well presented. Better with extra side sausage, which wasn't bad even though it looked sad.
We had a terrible experience with flight delays luggage left behind by the Toronto airport etc. came in here for a much needed drink & some fries. Our server was quick to greet us friendly & suggested wine for me. The fries were good & the atmosphere was nice.
I was traveling though Canada from Belgium & had a terrible experience here. After continuous delayed flights I came here to charge my phone & likely eat. After asking one of the host if they had charger ports they confirmed they did so they showed me where & sat me down. I then asked to purchase a fountain drink which I was told okay to. Before I knew it I guess the manager a lady with glasses can't remember her complete description came to me & said I had to buy something to sit. So I was confused because I just purchased a fountain drink but she informed me it must be alcohol for whatever reason. After hours of traveling I did not want to drink any alcohol so she stated I must purchase something from the menu. Which I did fries that were soggy & salty & I did not eat. I find it a terrible customer experience to force traveling customers to drink or buy what you prefer them to buy instead of what they want to buy. It screams sales are low & it will make a bad name for the business. Very unpleasant experience & I didn't experience this anywhere else in the Montreal aiport but here
Had to turn my head & look for a waiter/ waitress in order to get noticed & have my order taken. Food was overpriced. One drink & a smoked meat sandwich came to $40. Asked if I could use the rest of my Canadian cash & pay the rest on card & was told that wouldn't be an option (truly no reason it shouldn't be) waitor mumbled where to go to pay & when asked him to repeat what he said cause I didn't hear him, acted extremely annoyed. Employees here clearly need to change their attitude. Food was good tho, not worth the price.
