Upstairs Jazz Bar & Grill is an authentic jazz performance club & restaurant. The musicians are top flight & the club' s reputation is such that its the only off-site location for the prestigious Montreal International Jazz Festival. The food is excellent for what it is - including chicken, pasta, burgers, fish & salads. Delicious Tiramisu for dessert! "Upstairs" is a fine night out. Peter Kerr, Montreal

Went here on a whim on a random Wednesday night. So glad we came across this little gem... the venue, music & vibe was so picturesque of Montreal. A must visit!

I went for the music. Not to much to said, really. I just felt a bit uncomfortable because a glass of wine I ordered & the glass was very dirty. :/ not well washed.

Cozy restaurant with live music. Fish tacos was small portion for my companion. Snapper was nice, with potatoes & vegetables with a good portion. We were only able to book at bar this evening. Bartender was pleasant & good service. Music was excellent!

We enjoyed the food here more than we expected, figuring it would be more about the music. Our party enjoyed the nachos with guacamole, as well as these entrees: pasta di Verona, salmon, & poulet Georgia. We ordered cocktails, which were average (not bad, not great). The live music was great, but quite loud since this is a small enjoyment. Fun feature: the menus are in album covers.
