Great music, great atmosphere, great staff! The only downside was some of the audience weren't there for the music & talked too loudly.

Ça fait maintenant depuis 10 ans que je connais cet endroit, & je n'ai jamais eu de mauvaise expérience . L'ambiance est super .

Visited during the Montreal Jazz Festival. This is a cool little grotto with excellent sound & sight lines to the stage. Staff & the guy at the door were friendly & welcoming. They speak English & français aussi. Will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful night at Upstairs Jazz Bar for the Upstairs Jam Session with Jim Doxas on Wednesday. Food was excellent (recommend the aubergine parmesan, but lots of the plates going by looked delicious). Exceptional jazz! If you are in Montreal, be sure to make a reservation for Wednesdays at Upstairs Jazz.

A friend brought me to listen to the McGill students perform jazz, it was a lovely evening. The place was packed & performances were on a high, performing to a supportive crowd. The dinner was delicious & served in good time, despite the crowd. I honestly don't know how the servers kept up, but they did with such finesse, it was impressive.

Super endroit chaleureux pour passer une soirée relaxante en écoutant des musiciens talentueux. Leurs repas sont délicieux & frais! Le service est agréable & vite. Les tables sont plutôt proches les unes des autres, mais c'est pas un dérangeant. Je recommande à tout le monde, c'est ma sortie préférée à faire!

Nous avons eu, encore une fois, une superbe soirée de jazz - au rythme de succès des Beetles. Un band de trois avec pianiste très sensible & envoûtant de par sLe service courtois & discret. Belle soirée comme toujours au Upstairs

Nous sommes aller pour un 5a7 & c'était très bien comme ambiance. Les cocktails sont très bons. Nous avons seulement manger des nachos qui correct sans plus mais les plats avaient tous lair délicieux.

I had a very nice evening at this jazz club. The food exceeeded my expectations for a club. The barmaid was very attentive. Atmosphere was perfect. The audience was sympa.
