Music, the night I was here was incredible. They were showcasing students from McGill, & each set was different. So much talent. Service was great.

Funky little bar with good music & sight lines are good too. Reminded me of Village Vanguard without the subway.

it's called upstairs but it's downstairs & it was a bit too hard to understand for my pea sized brain because also everything was upside down & it was really hard to register what was going on. Good music

This is the place you want to go to. Beautiful atmosphere, very good music, service & "savoir faire". Easy going, exhaustive in their explanation & willing to go the extra mile. If you are a montrealer have to go more often, however if you are visiting one cannot miss the place. I will be back

What a wonderful spot. As an Australian I appreciated a place called " Upstairs " where the sign was upside down & the bar is downstairs . I felt like Anelie Poulon herself when I cracked the creme brulee with my spoon . It was light sweet & divinely sensual as I savoured every spoonful. The place was packed with people living the music & the band was on fire ! Staff also were great even able to handle a non French speaking lad like me . Recommended !

Can't speak to the food, only came for wine & live music during jazz festival... Loved the cozy atmosphere, friendly staff & great music... Had to ait outside bc I didn't have a reservation, but so thankful they even made room for me. I was able to hear the music & appreciate the evening all the same!

This place was great! Despite being very busy the service was impeccable. Never received such quick & friendly service as this before! The food was great (we got a burger & a chorizo entree) & we went on a night with an open mic, the vibes were great, rly appreciated the music

Awesome spot for live jazz, the musicians playing when we were there were just incredible. They have various shows every week. The food was mid, but to be fair you don't really go here for the food. Still pretty good. Our waitress was super nice 😊 Show costs 15$ on top of your meal, but the food is reasonably priced.

The service was absolutely amazing, a very busy night with performances going on but the our server was super attentive throughout the evening! The music & the performances were one of the best in town.

Really great food we both had the hamburgers & the fries were really great also the desserts amazing. We had the chance to see the Amazingly talented Ranee Lee & an also amazing musicians just a perfect evening .
