Une expérience exceptionnelle du début à la fin ! Les sushis étaient incroyablement frais & savoureux, avec une présentation digne d'un chef d'oeuvre. Le service (Karim) était impeccable, attentif & chaleureux, ce qui a rendu l'expérience encore plus agréable. L'ambiance est à la fois élégante & apaisante, parfaite pour un dîner en tête-à-tête ou entre amis. Je recommande vivement ce restaurant à tous les amateurs de sushis ! Mets délicieux & restaurant très agréable déco & agencement. Néanmoins super déçue par le service client aucun effort volonté n'a été réalisé pour ajuster le placement de tables. Ils y avait 1h30/2h pour intervertir. Nous étions 10 pour mon anniversaire la réservation s'est faite en ligne . il y avait la possibilité de nous mettre proches, ils n'ont pas saisi cette opportunité que l'on passe une soirée tous ensemble & que l'on soit pleinement enthousiasmé par l'expérience. Le service à table est bon mais ajoutez de l'adaptabilité & ce serait parfait !Voir plus

Un véritable joyau pour les amateurs de sushi à Montréal! Chaque bouchée est une explosion de saveurs, avec des ingrédients d'une fraîcheur irréprochable & des combinaisons créatives qui surprennent & ravissent le palais. & que dire du service? Pierre-Marc, le gestionnaire, est tout simplement exceptionnel: son accueil chaleureux & son souci du détail rendent l'expérience encore plus mémorable. Service was wildly slow, & the restaurant wasn't even half full. The california rolls come with salmon which was unusual, & the rice felt so unseasoned & bland. The miso soup was ok, but the sliced leek in it was so big it was awkward to eat. All & all, an average sushi restaurant would've been better & more worth the money.Voir plus

Jan'24: We tried this place for the first time & were impressed with the seafood quality for an affordable price. They certainly get a good provider for the tuna The sashimi pieces are thick & fresh. It's the first sushi place where I see more tuna than salmon is served in rolls. What I find not on point is the sushi sauce & soy sauce which is a bit salty to my taste. We got the platter for 4 & the price is amazingly good for this quality. The place itself is spacious & has a zen decor, music is not loud. They don't have alcohol license so only mocktails available. Overall it was a nice experience & certainly a nice addition for the Griffintown area. Apr'24: Food & quality are still great. There's now an outdoor terrace also. The only bemol is the service which is kinda slow & the waiters don't come by very often. June'24: We're trying the terrace for the time & the seating was very comfortable. It has the Ibiza vibes with the sun & a nice background music. The service can't be better as they gave us free sashimi for bringing out the wrong item. Aug'24: We had a wonderful dinner with friends who tried this place for the first time. The newly introduced BYOW makes this place even more attractive! The sushi/sashimi are amazing as usual. It took a bit of time to get the food but we quickly forgot about it once the food arrived & the alcohol kicked in. Dec'24: We came back with some friends. Sushi quality is still good but price has increased a lot compared to beginning of the year. Platter Abundance is now $169 instead of $129!! The restaurant was full. We ordered extra sashimi on top of the platter, asking to have it come out first & they were not able to do it. The sashimi actually came after , & the restaurant felt a bit cold as if it wasn't heated enough. We hope the restaurant will keep up with its reputation.Voir plus

Umamia is hands-down one of the best sushi spots I've ever been to. The fish is incredibly fresh, & the rolls are crafted with care, offering a perfect balance of flavors. The presentation is stunning, & the atmosphere is cozy yet elegant, making it ideal for any occasion. I'll definitely be coming back for more! Très bon restaurant. Le poisson est frais & de qualité, les rouleaux sont originaux & les combinaisons de saveurs sont super. Belle ambiance. C'est un apportez votre vin... par contre il y a un cork fee de 5$, première fois que je vois ça au qc.Voir plus

Super petit resto ! Excellent service de la part d'un employé investi qui connaît à la perfection le menu. La bouffe est excellente, originale & authentique. Le fait de pouvoir apportez son vin est très apprécié. Nous avons passé un excellent moment. A noter qu'il est agréable de voir les employé cuisiner les plats & que malgré la petite taille de la salle, nous pouvions parler normalement pour nous entendre. Wow one of the best sushi restaurants in Montreal. This spot deserves to be on the « best sushi restaurants » list. Service is impeccable & you are treated so well (like kings & queens). Umamia serves premium sushis rolls & nigiris with incredible ingredients. The kitchen is in the dinning room so you see all the chefs in action & this is pretty to see. All the sushis were delicious (I recommend them all). I also tasted all the appetizers & they were all excellent. If I had to choose my top 3 : wasabi nori chips, lobster infused miso soup & gyozas.Voir plus
